KeSPA Cup

This is the KeSPA cup, do not take anything to heart. Komodo monster was a finalist last year and was relegated. ESPever won it in season 5. In short it has literally 0 meaning and all it is simply a collection of fun games to watch, so stop thinking and enjoy.

This is more of an observation at best. Honestly, the measurement between this mattering and it not mattering shouldn't be based on who's made it that far. I was thinking to myself this morning following these Semifinal matches at the least and it had me wondering come the start of the 2018 competitive season, do I even want to use this tournament as a metric of rating to the teams, especially for KT who at the moment doesn't make my top 5 teams coming into 2018 (though a couple more preseason changes to come). I'm not inclined to magically say Griffin is going to dominate CK Spring for nearly besting SKT. That would be as ridiculous as overhyping ESC Ever for their win in 2015 or Kongdoo for their 2016 finalist record.

....Peanut did however make me giggle a bit.
