Do you think best wildcard teams could be able to win against middle/lower LCS teams?
As examples, paiN Gaming (Brazil), Dark Passage (Turkey) and Bangkok Titans (SEA) could defeat teams like Dignitas (NA), Team 8 (NA), Gambit (EU) or Elements (EU)?

paiN could definitely beat some LCS teams. The others I'm not so sure about. You saw how bad Bangkok did against H2K (even when H2K drafted like a Solo Queue team), and Dank Passage (intentional) couldn't even get to the Asian WC finals.
Also, all of those NA teams have roster changes incoming, so we're not really sure what's gonna happen there.
Bo1 yeah, of course Bo3/5: -no way they would have beaten last season Gambit (that was playoffs caliber team if it wasn't for the internet incident at the start of the season AND Forg1ven ban at the end of the split, they were 7-5 if you exclude first 2 weeks and the last one when they had those BIG troubles)
- They would have had close to none chances to beat Elements
- They would have had chances to beat dignitas, even though Dignitas would have been clear favourites (like 70-30/80-20)
- T8...well it could have been a balanced match-up
paiN looks like a mid-tier NA LCS team, I'm sure they could do it. The others look pretty bad.
