CLG, I Will Never Lose Faith

I have followed CLG since starting to watch LCS back at the very beginning of Season 3, when the LCS system began. I watched countless players come and go, I watched incredible plays, like Aphro's thresh stealing blue at level 1, I've watched awful defeats, like when CLG was relegated, but I have always continued to support CLG. You guys getting to worlds is an incredible accomplishment, especially as the first seed from NA. And keep in mind as well that you are one of the only two teams to have beaten Flash Wolves, and KOO never did beat them. This years lineup was by far the most taleneted we've seen, and I hope you keep it. So, if anyone of you reads this, I want you to not take your worlds performance too hard. You may not have made it out of groups, but you performed incredibly well against some of the top teams in the world. People say that this was CLG Golden age, and that it was short lasted and disappointing. I disagree wholeheartedly. This is just the beginning of the CLG Golden Age. I can't wait to watch you guys tear it up in the season 6 spring and summer splits, and I know that you will get to worlds again next year, and you will be feared. To my boys in black and blue, make your opponents the same colors.

Well said sir. As it stands, C9 looks to be the only NA team to make it out of groups stage, the team that some thought would go 0-6

I honor those who accept defeat and fall amongst their heroes

Rather than the traitors who betray their team to go to the currently winning one.

You have my respect

It always feels like CLG goes on a winning streak more than them doing anything really impressive. Like there doesn't seem to be that much more potential to look forward to.

Look at the other teams play, Origen feels like they haven't even reached their ceiling. SKT1 is mowing the lawn with teams. Even C9 brings a playstyle so unique no other team plays like they do. CLG will win games, and they have good players but it always feel like it watching a soloQ game.

Yeah, they lost vs Pain....

Team they laughed at last week. No, CLG is a better team but they are emotionally destroyed and end up losing.

I love CLG. I am on the same page as you, my friend. Tbh, I hope no one from CLG goes on the forums, everyone is so quick to be a dick about it. All the TSM banwagoners getting their revenge.

Nooooo

I hate how people say, they won the NA # 1 seed. Lets not forget, the LCS is split now into 2 splits. CLG did even get anywhere in spring split. When Summer split started, there were plenty of teams with roster changes, coaches swap, and inconsistencies. The Summer split ws rushed and CLG was able to get a good few weeks and capitalized on it. This is why, every dang split, we hear the "golden age" crap. then they throw. Last split was like this too, they started off nice, threw the other half split and nearly got relegated. Now in summer split, they did good, came to worlds and threw everything. They were the favored team to get out of the group

I respect that they got #1 seed but lets not get carried over it. They are a inconsistent team. They play by emotions; they win, they play good, they lose, they start throwing and losing games. I do hope they get rid of Doublelift. He doesn't play good when he feels down. And it seems he loves being right hence why some people have said things about him on twitter....
