That is why no one likes NA lol..you are by far the worst region historically and it is not even close, Korea has won worlds, China made 2 consecutive finals and won MSI, EU has won worlds and had 3 teams in the semifinals, even LMS won worlds and destroyed your number 1 seed at MSI, the best thing any NA team has ever achieved at worlds was 1 win in the Quarterfinals, nothing more. Now you have had 2 good games (CLG honestly didn't impress) and you are already trashtalking rofl.

More in general, this Worlds have been much less focused on top laners than what expected, and Chinese top laners have performed much worse than expected, which is causing their teams strategies to completely crumble (especially Acorn on LGD)

EDG can still win it all. I'm pretty sure they didn't take today's game seriously at all. They know they will make it out of group and didn't want to give away anything to SKT.

I do agree the other two teams have been disapointing.

The problem is the meta is wide open. From what I hear Asian culture isn't too big on innovating but mastering what's already been created. With the exception of EDG and SKT the Asian teams seem to be lost during the pick and ban phase.

Don't forget EDG ;) They are still doing great. Everyone knew that IG is inconsistent. Sometimes they are strong and beat EDG and sometimes they are crap. Kakao was hyped too much (First game: AFK Farming jungle 0/0/0, 888 dmg). And their botlane is like the worst on the whole tournament and every tournament before. I mean this bronze bard... omfg. Destroying his own team. Sivir getting caught out before every teamfight xD LGD had some coach issues. Obviously their pick/ban-phase is just awful. And GODV was so overyhped. Actually he doesn't play like a Top5 midlaner. More like a free solokill laner.
