Considering that Gragas is anti-vayne, and Fenix is constantly playing Vic who is strong vs Vayne as well.

Gragas is anti-vayne? In what world? The bodyslam is unreliable as a knock-up, and if your team doesn't back-up the engage with damage you are gone anyway - and if you miss it you are basically dead, the ulti is even less reliable, Q does little damage if you can't ferment the cask and you can't if you want at least slow down Vayne, W is pretty much non relevant for the specific match-up as you don't get enough damage through it to shut down Vayne and his use to counter poke and regen health through passive is not exactly super duper useful as Vayne strength isn't poke

Well Piglet thought he could kill Sneaky, sneaky used one of his abilities and prevented him from doing that, stayed alive long enough for his teammate to help and you know the rest. It was an Outplay, and you are salty.

He did very little in the last game though. Hai and Incarnation (alongside Lemon and Balls obviously) did most of the work in the 4th game. They're not getting carried by him; they're all just a very good team.

If anything, you would argue that both Incarnation (series prior to this one) and Sneaky carry the rest of the team, but then everyone would look at you as though you were an idiot because of course those two guys are in the carry positions.

If you did not notice, he made sure piglet lost his lane. After that, most of the attempts was to kill Sneaky.

It would have been the game that sneaky carries harder if lemonatiom gave him that shield when he had 790 stacks. Instead he didn't and they lucked out on ~1,700 gold.

Any challenger Draven could've done what Sneaky did in that last game during laning phase. In the teamfights, we can quibble over what would've happened but Draven vs. Vayne isn't exactly a difficult lane provided you're at equivalent-ish level with your opponent.

And I really doubt that Sneaky getting that 1.7k gold would've made the game much different for a couple of reasons:

He's a medium range ADC and these fall to the way side when it comes to poking with AA's, so not much damage would've come from poking (as we saw during the game).
Cloud 9 had a baron throw in the middle of the game that had little to do with how fed Draven was.
He was instagibbed without throwing more than 2 autos in several teamfights even after cashing in that adoration.

I'm not saying he under-performed. He did his job and should be applauded. But the real play makers were Hai and Incarnation (in the 4th game).

No Sneaky did a lot in the final game. He completely shut out the Vayne. Giving is other teammates the chance to carry. Sure he wasn't able to get kills but he got a whole wack of turrets giving his team much map control. If you say he wasn't the carry the last game fine but I say otherwise as he got so strong in the normal way he put so much damage out that they had to build against him that TL just got ripped up by two AP carries striking them.

Right...they are the carries so their numbers look great. If they were so godly why didn't they "carry" meteos before hai? I mean obviously hai deserves a lot of credit....also we've never seen sneaky with supports other then lemon, and balls won his lane solo plenty of times in the gauntlet. They are just a good team.

I agree. Sneaky is amazing can solo carry the team to an extent but that will just target him out if the others can't preform at all(see Altec).

But Hai has been the catalyst to C9 success all a long. It almost as Hai can make the rest of his team play to the best of their ability. I like Hai a more in the jungle role then I ever did in mid. I never seen him as unskilled but his play never fit a mid lane carry style. In a more supportive role(not that jungler can't carry but on average) fits him better. Although still rough around the edges I don't see him as not being able to bring the full extent to his new role as well.

No one is talking about killing a vayne with a Gragas :D I'm talking about the fact that Gragas can easily displace Vayne because her range is really punishable

I think this is a pretty good example of focusing on team synergy/dynamics and needs of a team over just grabbing the "best" players. Fnatic is another example.

Hai is the more cut and dry example, because he was taken out, they failed, he was put back in, they succeeded. In team sports/games, there is more to it then individual skill. Hopefully this is a lesson to teams; it seems C9 learned it. Jack wants him to stay the jungler. You know, considering how volatile LCS is, just being a contender every year is far better then trying to win worlds every year. This wouldn't be the case if teams didn't have the chance of dropping completely out of the LCS, like C9 almost did. Unlike real sports, where a team can go 0/16 and just snag some first round draft picks the next year and rebuild, who have freedom of cutting players, its far harder for LCS teams to take that chance because they could end up just being completely out of the LCS, and broke.

Anyways, that was a side rant to my post. The bottom line is, hopefully more teams take notes from C9's situation(and FNatic), and stop just clamoring to say, suck up every free agent Korean they can get their hands on. Individual skill in league is not the greatest contributor to success. Hell, Hai is a testament to that. There could be more Hai's in their own region's solo Q that just need a chance besides being on a sub-par challenger team.

Also, it shows that mid laners and ADCs are probably still the most important roles to have amazing players in. There are exceptions, like Huni, but a strong mid laner and a strong ADC is going to take you far with the right help. Hai is the right help. It also shows that jungle just isn't easy to punish. Even a jungler like Rush, could not punish Hai to any degree that mattered, compared to say watching Incarnation dump all over Gate. Its just how the game is atm. Counter jungling isn't really easy to do, nor is it that effective. Even when C9 stole half of Dom's stuff and "shut" him down, he was still able to make ganks and plays. Thats just how jungling works at the pro level. People always talk about some jungler getting punished and they never do because its just not easy to do.

I do find it mildly ironic, that Hai's biggest weakness as a midlaner, a weak champ pool, seems to be one of his biggest strengths as a jungler; he showed a pretty diverse champ pool. And, that champ pool simply cannot be punished like it would in lane.

Agreeing with this AND with OP. Sneaky was an absolute beast yesterday.

But yesterday's incarnation and the incarnation from the pre-Hai split are like 2 different players.
