2017 World Championship is China. What are projections for location of 2018 World Championship? I'd like to travel to Korea for a World Championship sometime in my life. When is Worlds likely to return to Korea? I know it was held there in 2014.
I know it will be held in the netherlands, in my room, on my computer screen.. :D

Well, that's what I was actually wondering, myself. You see, If my memory serves, 2013 was when SKT won the World Championship in NA, and as you stated, 2014 was Korea. 2015 we went to EU (Germany and London and Paris(?)) and then in 2016 they brought it back to NA. 2017 was in China, so if we are looking at major regions, I think EU or Korea are a shoe in for Worlds 2018.
HOWEVER, NOW! There is the Wildcard regions to consider for 2018, too. Riot has spent a lot more time looking into those regions (Brazil, CIS, OCE, etc.) and we could be looking at a Worlds being hosted in a place like Rio de Janeiro. I doubt we will ever see a Worlds event in OCE, as it is a very small region and much of the crowd would have to come from outside of that area (flown in) I feel. But maybe, since OCE is still a considerable region. I think it'll be interesting to see where they take us next, but I wouldn't count Korea out by any means.

Worlds 2018 will take place in South Korea so that's good news for you! Mid inventationals will take place in Berlin and Paris.

We really never know. I could see it coming back to Korea in 2018, just because it's the next major region (that isn't Taiwan) on the list. At the same time, I didn't expect MSI in Brazil, so we could be surprised again, either by a return to EU, or something in another small region (like a Pacific island hop, or a Korea/Japan split hosting, or something else).

I would really like it to be in the UK as i feel France got all the glory matches and spain are hosting all stars this year the uk hardly get any competetive league and would be amazing for MSI or worlds to be held there as the UK has a very popular fan base.
