If I were.... (LoL eSports edition)
An aspiring pro player in Master/Challenger - what role?
Definitely Support. Since the start of my League journey, I was fascinated by the heal/shield/sacrificial type of support play.
Strengths (within meta game):
Weaknesses:

Of course I like my off meta, so if I get a chance to play that out, I absolutely would!
A pro playing for a team / which region?
Within NA either Counter Logic Gaming or Golden Guardians. Their academy lineups specifically. Basically a team that wouldn't have a lot of hype around them and expectations would be limited.
If I went to any other region, it would likely be EU, OCE, JP or LATAM. For those teams I'd want to join based on the same margin for NA
Able to play Collegiate, would I?
Yes. But I already graduated. If I could turn back the clock, I'd have probably invested more into the League team they had rather than competing in other university local tournaments (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Soul Cali, etc).
A head coach - What's my team dynamic? (The playstyles)
- 2 aggressive players; preferably Top/Jungle or Jungle/Support
- Flexible Mid and Bot player
- No super egos
- Players who take the initiative
- Basically G2 minus the egos
A strategic/drafting coach
I would be innovative as hell! As for where I'd target, the less star power the less focus. In a series, target banning would come when the team is unable to overcome the pick. I would probably be the one to say to let something through as the team has done enough practice against the opposition to have a pick around it. I wouldn't be a fan of runbacks either. You could say I'd be a strategic coach for the fans.
An on stage referee?
No........
A caster?
I would be Color Caster: Relatively more critical to the misplays and the what ifs and less into ongoing narratives. Inspired more by Froskurinn, Deficio, and Raz and not so much by Azael specifically. The rest are neutral ground.
I've tried play by play to myself. It was pitiful.
A content creator
I would do articles; specifically mid season global updates, roster news, loose power rankings, expectations vs realities, some storylines (ie CLG losing streak vs TSM).
Part of the LCS Production Team
I'd work with visuals and aesthetics. Make use of my graphic design knowledge
In charge of the LoL eSports website
That thing's getting an overhaul again! It's crazy when Wikis and third parties do a better job. But it's not uncommon I guess.
Able to make a change to anything on the entire season
MSI now has an 8 team round robin for Play-In and Main Event stages with 2 streams and no live venue until single stream Knockout stage. For a rough layout:
-
4 Teams get in Main Event based on previous Worlds performance for region
-
1st in Play In gets in automatically
-
2nd thru 5th Play In fight it out for remaining spots
-
Double Elim Knockout Stage - Nobody is completely out after Main Event.
-
Teams that make the upper bracket are awarded Pool 1 seeds for their region at Worlds.
Able to remove anything on the entire season
Rift Rivals
Able to ADD anything on the entire season
.......pass
A World Champion
I'd retire afterwards. Make occasional appearances however. I'd have my Soraka skin immortalized into the game's history. Mission accomplished.
Unable to play Soraka / Soraka was deleted
I play Sona, Taric, or Nidalee. That's all I got.
