http://i.imgur.com/d5txArO.jpg I was thinking about hosting a cash prized tournament and i want to get the boards Input on what they think about it and if they would join! League of Legends Cash Prized Team Tournament Who can join? Any premade team can join Game Info -Summoner’s Rift-Tournament Draft with Spectators on -A team is only allowed 2 registered substitutes What is the Entree Fee and who pays the Entree Fee? The Entree Fee is $38.00 per team and the team captain pays the entree fees. The team captain can not be located certain states in order to win cash prizes which will be discussed in a lower section. The rp rewards for the tournament will be distributed to all the individual players however the team captain will be entrusted with all the cash winnings. Destiny Falls is in no way responsible for what the team captain does with the cash winnings. Can I receive cash prizes in my states? The following states ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to win cash prizes due to state laws: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont. What does it mean that i can’t receive cash prizes in my state? It means that in order to win cash rewards, the team captain must be from a state that is eligible to win cash rewards. If the team captain is from a state that can not receive cash rewards, then we can convert it to riot points with a 12 percent fee. What is the prize pool for the tournament? 1st place:16,000 RP+5 Triumphant Ryze Skins+50% of prize pool 2nd place:12,000 RP+25% of prize pool 3rd place:8,000 RP+10% of prize pool 4th place:4,000 RP+5% of prize pool What do you estimate the cash prizes will be for the tournament? It depends on how many teams we get. We will show how much the prize pool will be for 8,16 and 32 teams however it does alter it the number of teams are different from one of these 3 numbers.

Cash Rewards if we get 64 teams 1st place:$1216.00 2nd place:$608.00 3ed place:$243.20 4th place:$121.60

Cash Rewards if we get 32 teams 1st place:$608.00 2nd place:$304.00 3ed place:$121.60 4th place:$60.80

Cash Rewards if we get 16 teams 1st place:$304.00 2nd place:$152.60 3ed place:$60.80 4th place:$30.40 Cash Rewards if we get 8 teams 1st place:$152.60 2nd place:$76.00 3ed place:$30.40 4th place:$15.20

I think this is a great idea. There will be mostly strong teams, because of the buy-in, which tends to deter the smaller teams. This will help us all get more focused because a cash reward is much more appealing than rp. Who knows the next LCS team might come from this tournament. =)

Wow, Seems like a great tournament. i feel like this could become a bigger tournament after the word gets out. After a couple of tournaments, there is no doubt that the number of teams will be joining this. including they can receive notice here slowly and good practice if they wanted to become an actually LCS team.

Honestly, this seems like an amazing idea though i wouldn't suggest joining unless you seriously believe you could win. I would not join though mainly cause I am Bronze4Lyfe.item 3070 though it would be hard to find any teams without real advertisement unless you had a item 3363 Though will there be a max on the total LKS of the teams of this tournament because the limit is a big part.

Sounds like a good idea.

Sounds like a great opportunity for serious player. But maybe add some restrictions on each bracket of teams, say if the teams number gets to 32 make two brackets of players, one below a certain lp and one above a certain rp to make the offer more realistic.

This tournament allows me to play with my friends. I don't get to see most of them anymore because of college. I am thankful for this tournament.

Hey - I think it's a great for the community to be able to participate in tournaments like this. Props to you for coming up with this idea with a reasonable entrance fee with a chance to win big money. It gives teams a chance to play for some reward which will motivate them to take it more seriously. I have some experience with teams in Ranked 5s who just disband after we don't win 5 in a row to get placed the best possible seeding. I wish that I am able to find a consistent team that will be able to participate in tournaments like these to test our potential.

Not interested, I'm in Canada Quebec and we're always excluded. I'd like to at least be able to play but not be eligible for the price. I'm not sure how legal that would be, many other tournaments just literally exclude us from playing.

Does LoL have any small scale, weekly tournaments? Like I remember back when I was playing warcraft 3, me and my buddies use to enter this 4v4 tournament that happened every week for $4 (only $1 per player).

Would be cool to see a weekly $5 tournament even if the payout was just like $50 rp or whatever.
