Date: The tournament will take place over one day on April 25, 2015 at 2:00pm EST / 11:00am PST.
Sign-Ups: To sign-up post your summoner name in vVv Gaming’s Announcement Thread on the vVv Gaming forums. Once all spots are filled, a waiting list will be created. Sign-ups will officially end on April 24 at 10:00pm EST / 7:00pm PST.
Signing-In: Summoners will have from 1:00pm-1:45pm EST to show up. Players need to join the “KOTSH” chat room in the League of Legends client. Additionally, players will need to download and install Mumble, if they have not previously done so and be in the “League of Legends” channel. Event staff will speak with each new user to make sure everyone is signed in and set to play!
Furthermore, if someone who signed up does not appear, the first summoner on the waitlist will take the empty spot. Thus, all players on the waitlist are encouraged to sign-in at the designated time as well.
Basics Free to enter - just be level 30 and on the NA server Tournament Format: Single Elimination Tournament size: 64 player max Seeding is determined at random using challonge.com. Map: Custom Summoner’s Rift Blind Pick Bans: 1-1-1-1-1-1 in game creation To win: Player must slay the opponent three times OR take the second mid-lane tower. First Round: Best of One All rounds after first will be Best of Three The Grand Finals will be Best of Five
Tournament Process
- This is single elimination - meaning there is no loser’s bracket. If you lose, you will be out of the tournament!
- Summoners are expected to switch sides every game. This will be verified by match history.
- Players may only use the middle lane and jungle. Farming of towers or minions in either of the other two lanes is not permitted.
- Winner must either kill the other player three times or take the second mid-lane tower.
- The summoner spell Teleport is banned.
- Summoners will each have a staff member assigned to them who will serve as their guide / referee throughout the tournament.
- All summoners must be in the KOTSH chat room and in the vVv Gaming mumble server - this is a part of the sign-in process.
- When finished with a round, post in the KOTSH chat room so your staff member knows you're finished.
- Event staff will use detailed match results from both summoners to verify points. These matches will be linked to in the tournament bracket.
- Do not proceed to the next match until instructed to do so.
- In between each match will be a small delay of up to 10 minutes.
- If a summoner does not appear for their match within 20 minutes, s/he will be disqualified.
- If a player is suspected of cheating, contact your staff member as soon as possible and take a screenshot using F12 for evidence.

FAQ Which tournament bracket system will we be using? We will be using challonge.com for randomized brackets.
How long will the event take? Staff will begin to set up for the event a few hours before the beginning of the event. The actual event itself will last approximately 5-6 hours. Be sure that if you keep winning you’ll be able to stay the entire time!
What is the cost of entry? There is no entry fee. Simply post your summoner name in the vVv Gaming’s Announcement Thread.
Who can enter? Any player on the NA server who is level 30. You do not need to be part of the vVv Gaming community to enter!
If I win, when will I get my prize? RP will be given out in the hour after the tournament ends. For the gear, we will need your mailing address and will be sending that out at the beginning of the next week!
