[C9 WORLDS 2015] Hero pool discussion. The root of disaster.

I mean, look to this. We need to talk about it.

[TOP] Balls --- Total: 3 heroes --- Gank Plank (1st), Darius (2nd, 3rd,4th,5th,6th), Malphite (7th) [JUNGLE] Hai --- Total: 2 heroes --- Lee Sin (1st,3rd,4th,5th,7th), Elise (2nd and 6th(Lee Banned)) [Support] LemonNation --- Total: 2 heroes --- Morgana (1st,3rd,4th,6th,7th), Braum (2nd (Morg banned) and 5th) [ADC] Sneaky --- Total: 3 heroes --- Tristana (1st,2nd,3rd,5th,6th), Jinx (4th), Twitch (7th)

Seeing this i need to, politely, ask: Are you f**** out of your mind? Does this even remotely resembles a worlds class team champion pool?

Casters were hitting the ''one strat'' key everytime, and i thought they were overdoing it. Now, i actually think there were being soft with C9. One strat? They don't even have two comps for that same strat.

Add in that Balls would most likely play Darius 6 times if GP was banned in the first match. Hai and Lemon also runned the same hero 5 times with their confort picks being banned at least once. Finally Sneaky also went for a penta repeat, with one of variations being Jinx, so not that much of a variation in the end.

Props to Incarnati0n, who actually played 5 heroes in 7 matches (Veigar, Orianna, Azir, Lulu, Yasuo). But if we are to understand how C9 did not managed to get the single victory they needed after 4 matches, i think we can very much start here.

What do you guys think?

Pretty much what Fnatic players said in the interview afterwards. C9 is just too predictable.

Honestly, I'm a big C9 fan but I was waiting for their small bag of tricks to run out...

Honestly I dont think I can feel comfortable giving props to incarnation's champion pool either, in every game C9 lost they targeted Incarnation in bans. Azir + Viegar gone in every match except with invictus and even then Invictus targeted and picked a counter pick to Veigar BLIND, they blind picked a counter into incarnation's Veigar and Incarnation still walked happily into it, and again they lost, and with it went the teams chances of winning, sure he has other champs and even played them well, but not 1 game was won with out Azir or Viegar those other 3 almost looked and felt like desperation picks, not something he wanted to pick but something he was trying to desperately find to make work for the teams intended goal.

I'm pretty sure that C9 didn't dig deep enough into their bag o' tricks.

Balls - can play Moakai and Rumble really well.

Hai - its understandable that is jungle pool is fairly low. I know he started playing competitively in the jungle, but much as changed since then.

Incarnation - does have a decent champ pool and can play assassins to mages.

Sneaky - has done well on Corki, Lucian, and Draaaaaaven.

Lemonnation - can play almost any support at a competitive level, just don't let him pick Karma. I don't think I've seen him play Bard or Tahm Kench.

I'm think they should have practiced more strats than siege and could have made more strats using each players champ pool.

Just my thoughts.
