Am I in the wrong for giving chances?

You know...I'm all for the feeling that change is a hard pill to swallow and takes time to really get comfortable with a difference in casting, streaming, etc. But more than likely, a lot just seem to discredit anyone and anything that isn't what they are used to. And if anyone is against the hivemind, they're pretty much shunned on the spot. Nothing really new honestly. Not every kind of player or individual can be a carbon copy replacement of the favorites that everyone respected, whether you like it or not. Same goes for the way a broadcast or show is run through changes.

Yes, SpoTV continues to show it's not the greatest option to watch LCK content. Having a near 30 minute delay before the English broadcast could even come up is yet another negative hit on the countless errors made since the broadcast split rights. But then you get to the casters; people who are at least giving it an effort to make content for the viewers. Yet viewers will overlook everything and it just becomes a negative criticism just because of who's casting. I don't like the person at all. I don't like the way they speak. I rather watch it some other way, etc. It's often a case where it's not even 10 minutes and they're already put on the hate train a couple of blocks away from mediocrity.

It's a shame that Monte and DoA decided to leave, thus ultimately ending those English OGN Broadcasts. And I may be shunned for just having my opinion, but not everyone can always fit in. I'm willing to watch and tolerate any effort of casting, especially if it's in English. I'm willing to get used to it and still enjoy the competitive play that I enjoy to watch. Nobody really has to agree with me. Watch it how you choose to and enjoy it all the same.

Change sucks. Lashing it all out may help you personally but it won't make too much of a difference in the end.

I personally don't get what the big "deal" is. Although Monte/doa aren't casting LCK, that doesn't mean you can't watch either anymore. If you like LCK then you can still watch it (if you're only watching it because of who is talking over the action then you're only really there to fap to caster voices), if you like Monte/doa then just go watch overwatch. If anything, the people in the latter category should be happier as not only will they get to see them more but they'll sleep happy knowing their "overlords" are getting paid more and get to essentially choose their own schedule.

Also considering the fact that it was SpoTV and that anyone who really paid attention last summer or any news prior to it, viewers knew what they were getting. I had this weird school like analogy between series where with casters/picky viewers (not all viewers) it's like they go from:

Average Joe Caster = Chanceless Bully Viewer Popular Studded Caster = Following, Defending Schoolgirl-like Viewer

A viewer wants to give the average joe a chance longer than 10 minutes or so and odds are you're thrown in the dumpster by the picky ones. Don't wanna play hero worship for the popular figure with the picky viewers and you'll probably just get looked at wrong, shunned, then thrown in the dumpster.
