in regards to poaching why not make the contracts only a year long and switch members each year? since contracts are not being held even in regards to being signed i think being fined is not going to be as effective as withdrawing all money funded by league towards the team/coaches/members who poach so there is more obligations to respecting anti poaching policies if caught i am not sure about the role of sponsors so i am not speaking on behalf of sponsors i am saying from riot side since they are the people who verify if a team is valid or not what my suggestion of switching teams and members each year is similar to in college or in school during career day you go to the gym whatever and there are schools you want to apply to, etc you go to a school you prefer and it is up to the school (or in this case the team) if they want to sign a contract with you this could eliminate people from poaching to waiting a year when the contract ends since most players sign more than year since poaching exists i think this kind of system would eliminate urges of poaching since it is up to the team to make the final call on what players play sadly i think it would be a lot more pressure on the players but poaching is also a lot of pressure on the player so im sorry this is the best solution i think maximizes for the amount of freedom and equality i think is the fairest for any sponsor, fantasy league, players, teams, and coaches it kind of contradicts the current system but i think it could eliminate poaching this new system could also make fantasy league much more interesting and worth much more research instead of just studying a team in a way, they would have to look at more of an individual such as baseball cards, etc housing could be like how current job offers are such as giving a certain amount of salary and you pick your own housing or the company helps you with your housing and less salary given since stock options are unavailable at riot i think currently but im not sure i just recently gotten into league but i saw on someones stream about the current problems facing pain gaming and also found an article on league regarding chris so im assuming it is an ongoing problem so i am raising this topic and these suggestions and hopefully it helps you guys out not saying to implement these right away but please consider my ideas as a possibility to eliminate any problems facing this beautiful game i wish you guys luck positive or negative feedback greatly encouraged friendly educational debates always brighten up my day haha

disclaimer: i am not a riot employee, i just love this game and the structure and the community it is brilliant lets keep it alive and well as long as possible

Because it does not make sense at all? An org want to have the chance to plan for the future, and know that you can have a player under contract for more than 1 year allow them to have a certain security in building the team brand around your iconic players and build gradually a roster that can go up in the standings

Riot has yet put a limit on maximum contract length, so there isn't even a problem of players being locked up to a team for super long time and being stuck with those contracts

The poaching matters a lot because it can potentially damage every one on the scene, so "solve" the problem by implementing a terribad system does not solve anything really

they just need a flat fine (say $50.000) for organisations that poach, with when player aquired has a 1month ''cooling off'' period before he can be played in any riot sponsored competition (or she) and this should help stop it.

but poachbing is done in all sports of a competitive nature and is tough to approach. leagues new-enough to put their foot down, alternatly it also creates rivalry's, topics, articles and publicity in the esports scene so....its a taboo topic.
