season 4
i started playing preseason of season 4, so i really was only around season 4 and season 5, but the worlds for season 4 seemed alot better.
Maybe cause Na was better that season, maybe it was because it was the first worlds i saw and i knew pretty much 0 pro players or teams so i didnt know who was favored or anything. I dont really know what the best world championship actually was tho.

If you asked anyone who would win before S2 worlds they'd have told you M5 or Azubu Frost. Nobody even knew who the Taipei Assassins were at the start of season 2 worlds which made them winning far more special.

III BAKURYU III 1 votesSeason 2 and 3 are on youtube on a playlist so you can hit play and it will auto play all the games. Type in Tri Nguyen League Season 2 World championship / Season 3. Or just go to their playlists and search for the playlists it's not far into the search maybe one time you have to hit "more at the bottom".

This was also my problem with S4. Samsung White was just so ahead of any other team. They had no competition and it was clear from the start that they would become world champion.
I agree S2 was the best Worlds. Nobody could have foreseen TPA beating the likes of Azubu Frost. It was a very pleasent surprise and a change from Korea dominance. Season 3+ is just them back at owning every other region over and over.

III BAKURYU III 1 votesThat was 2014 right ? Yeah that was the first Worlds that I saw and had to wake up around 3 in the morning just to watch the games.
Yeah exciting games with a "slower pace" as most of the games ended around the 41 min mark, not to mention NA did great and was NA's best Worlds to date.

Melvear1 votesPretty much hated S4 worlds in terms of competition, SSW was just leaps and bounds ahead of every single team there.
Watching SSW play however was a thing of wonder. It's just insane how good those guys were.

but you know...if SKT wins it´s always a good indicator that the game is in a state were plaing reactive is better than playing activly to win, which automatically means that it´s in a sad state and not all that great to watch.
