There's a lot of could've should've would've to the decision making of the team and particularly Inero regarding their 1-2 week in drafting. But frankly I can't really blame them for wanting to field different players with their playoff bye secured. They already secured a successful split for themselves and it's not like the FOX lineup they fielded was miles worse than the starting lineup. But to break down your points.
Having 2 new players in the same team is so bad! Thats why golden guardian is in last place. What a dumb roster they have.
This makes me assume that you haven't been watching the NA Academy League. From my observation, Damonte has been quite solid for the team and Papa Chau, while I didn't watch his performance as sharp as the likes of Damonte, OddOrange, and Lost, has been a long time Challenger level player yet to get any exposure for what he's able to do. And god damn he had a good debut game but recency bias seems to be a strong suit in a lot of fans and your remark clearly shows it.
Fenix 3rd best NA midlaner. Did they forget that his azir got a penta kill in the lcs.
Past facts do not always enforce present performance. Might as well call Febiven the undisputed best mid lane in NA for getting a practical Hexakill in a game this split. FOX was struggling on the back half of the split. Fenix held his own but the amount of bullying received definitely took the team apart around him. Again though, they had the playoff bye. Why not utilize the Academy squad as they had reign to do?
That morg pick in the first draft: trolling. Janna would been a better choice. Second draft Dardoch picked nocturne. He could of picked Jax. All together troll draft. Who ever was in charge in the ekko fox draft. They are making some weird choices.

I got nothing here. That's just drafting on Inero's part and an outscaled/outplayed execution on the team's part. Also it's Echo Fox. Somehow that's hard to type isn't it?
