Can c9 win worlds

There's a difference between a "local" CS and a global CS. Semifinals maybe. But I doubt they can go all the way.

Look at S5 Origen and FNC. Both were insanely strong teams and both failed in the semifinals.

After seeing that Liquid series? Despite winning, playing like that will not win Worlds.

Like always, C9 will be the best hope for NA success internationally. With that said, winning worlds? Slim chances

No. Korea is likely stronger right now than they have ever been when the top two teams are taken into account. This year is going to either be SKT or KT. I am hoping for KT this year. Mata is my boy

No, oh goodness, no... NA can't get passed LCK. Once they can get over LCK, then it can be considered. C9 was looking good before worlds last year... then... SKT put them on their back into Quarters and SamSung Galaxy beat them pretty good.

NA hasnt even got to a semifinals since season 1 and has never played the finals let alone won any worlds. So, no.

By that logic, we could ask if G2, UOL, KT, EDG, Snake, FW, RED Canids, DFM, Chiefs, and Lyon all can win worlds as we speak. If you don't wanna look it up, they are also the other #-0(-0) teams everywhere else.

No. That's not how this works and I'm sure you know it.

We will possibly see a new meta shift mid season before this split is over, another meta shift right before MSI, and 2-3 more during/before Worlds. That's alot of meta shifts + 7-8 months away to think about C9 possibly winning Worlds or even beat SKT. Right now if C9 would face SKT I'm thinking a 3-0 for SKT with 1 game being "close" maybe a 40 min game but the other two being 20 mins in which SKT would just destroy them.

To be honest, it's the age of SKT in the competitive scene at the very moment. They are the best team right now, but have some close competitors, like ROX last year, who almost beat them with the MF support, countering SKT's zyra support.
