CLG, loses again
Ik it was expected vs liquid, but srsly? The same old iorianna and sivir picks? Where is the innovation? And wiggly is terrible. Quite literally only does well on sejuani, basically subpar performance on everything else.

atm there is no innovation in the meta its kind of set in stone for now the way runes are setup pro play is a little different ins they make champs that canrt work in solo que viable in pro play but. lets face it clg has been going down hill for maybe the last 2 to 3 seasons they dont change up the roster too much and they tend to play the samestyle every time. the main playmaker/caller was aphro and now that hes gone they kinda dont have someone to make the decisions imo.
The problem for CLG was not picks or Wiggly performance though. Somehow Impact lose a 1vs1 as Jayce vs Ornn early game, with Darshan basically evening Jayce usual farm gold lead...and then CLG rather than focusing on the winninng match-up in top lane where they could potentially shut down Jayce for the rest of the game, start to put all their focus on forcing plays in the bottom half of the map, which make no sense from a macro point of view. And yes, Darshan himself didn't help by dying in a stupid way to TL trap on top shortly after and giving the kill back , but even after that Jayce lead was stabilized around only 10-15 minions and not growing anymore, which means Ornn was going to win the match-up going forward by a ton.
CLG lost because they had very poor macro decision, due to either bad shotcalling or to overaggressiveness to speed up the gane given by lack of faith in their individual skills to win a longer, drawn out game through teamfighthing
Teamfighting just isn't there for CLG and they can't really split push with Darshan because he's CLG's only tank style player, Bio hates and doesn't want to play tanks, wiggily can be easily drafted out of his champs and POE/Stixxay tend to play either safe to the point where CLG will just lose in 20 mins or a bit dumb and go 0-6-0 in 20 mins with their careless style of play.
I haven't honestly watched the games for LCS/LEC etc but it's a bit of a shocker who bad CLG are playing this split. I would say CLG and Misfits are co-runners for most disappointing splits so far.
At a bit after the 14 minute mark, CLG threw much of what they had at LIQ in an attempt to catch someone including Darshan. Jayce then got the outer tower, CLG failed to catch anyone and Liq then got the ocean drake. They then got a kill on POE as well out of that. I think that was a big point in the game and CLG got nothing out of it. Later after about the 17 minute mark they get two kills and then a third, but forget about Jayce and he knocks down the inner and the inhibitor towers in the top lane.
So they are unsuccessful on a play and Liquid gets tower, drake, and then a kill.
They are then successful on a play but liquid gets two towers and Darshan is down 50 cs.
CLG then pretty much slowly lost from there.
