How are Baron power points calculated?

Hello, friends!

I was wondering how the Baron Power Play points are added after a baron kill and what is the average number of a Baron Power Play.

Also, would adding this feature in ranked be any good?

I think it just checks the difference in team networth. The difference usually gets bigger after a baron buff.
