Request: When a BO5 is ended less games, could the YT team still upload 5 videos on the YT Channel?

Since Worlds is in China, and here in the EST timezone it means matches are in the middle of the night, I have to watch vods, and not watch games live. Thing is, when you load the LoLEsports Youtube page, you can see (like for today FNC and C9 series) that only 3 videos have been uploaded. So you already know it's a 3-0.

Would it be so much to ask from the LoLEsports team to upload 2 more videos that are 45min to 1h long, but are just a text saying "This series has already concluded".

So when you load the LoLEsports Youtube Page, or see the video in your sub box, you still have no idea if it will last 3, 4 or 5 games.

Is clicking on game 5, only to find out that there's a generic video there rather than a game one any better than just being told there is no game 5 when you click? Seems to me the latter is much more convenient. Personally, I'd like them to just make one vod for the whole series and not reveal who won or in how many games on the page. Have a separate results page with individual game vods there for those that want them.

I believe the reason it's not like that is because they know not everyone has time to sit down and watch a 1-2 hour video in one sitting. That, and/or because they know that some people may only want to watch specific games and not have to go hunting through an hour+ long video just to find it.

See that's why I think they should have the full vod on one page without results and then have individual game vods available with resuts on another.

1 video for the whole series would work.

Also, the problem is not that I would click on a game 5 to spoil myself. It's when you are skimming the video list to find Game One, you can only see 3 videos, spoiling you that the series is a straight 3-0

You have to go through the videos on the Youtube page to see them.

If lolesports.com is blocked at your workplace, they probably don't want you watching esports at work.
Tough luck? If you're using a $25 Chromecast you wouldn't have this issues.

going through lolepsorts is the best way. Find the vods and go watch there. It's what I did during the reg season

All you have to do is bookmark the "Vod" page of LolEsports, so you automatically go through spoiler free frontpage and watch the games, the Vods don't tell how many games X series went to.

I understand your concerns but ultimately what you're asking here is pointless as there's no need to upload additional videos if a series didn't go to 4 or 5 games. If they did that then it would just be click-bait which many people hate. There's always the rebroadcast streams to watch if you don't want to be spoiled by the VOD numbers.

EDIT: The Link that DrCyanide provided technically does just that with a text box saying the series concluded before the game could be played, but my argument still stands though regardless.

How can you not understand the point? These games are happening at two in the morning for some of us, some of us are able to stay up late and watch them but a lot of people aren't able to. The rebroadcast isn't necessarily at a convenient time, either. So, when you want to go watch the games when it is convenient, it's annoying for the series to be ruined before you even watch it, not by someone telling you who won, but just by your brain doing the math that "well gee, there's only three games to watch, and team A won the first game, wonder how the rest of the series played out...".

This could easily be solved by just uploading additional hour long or so videos that look just like the real games. When there is a simple solution, the response shouldn't be "deal with it, watch it when you should be sleeping or twenty hours later".

I understand not everyone can stay up late to watch them, that the number of VODS on the Youtube channel can be annoying at times and that the rebroadcasts aren't always at the most convenient times, but I also understand that Riot devoting time and resources to making click-bait videos just to please a select disgruntled few would just be pointless.

thats not what 'click-bait' means, in fact if you were watching the series in order you wouldn't even click on it most likely, since you would know the series had ended in 2-4 games beforehand. And please, let's not pretend that it would be any significant investment of time or resources, at all, to make and upload a video that consists of a 'lol esports' picture that 'plays' for 45 minutes to an hour.
