Nepotism In NA LOL

I say Nepotism because I'm not smart enough to think of a different term but, I'm tired of it in NA. It seems once again NA fans are going to get a shuffle of old players that aren't good enough to win worlds. It's said that there is a lack of talent in NA. This may be true but we'll never find out since it's all about stream viewers rather than actually winning. A lot of players in the challenger scene will never get a chance to even showcase there talents in the LCS. Why? Well if you weren't on a pro-team in season 1-3 foreign or domestic you won't get considered. I love to recycle but this is taking a dump in sawdust once again and it's going to far for my taste.

how would you determine which players are better? the challenger series serves the purpose of removing the inferior teams from play, but we still have the same teams in play because they continue to beat the challengers. therefore logically they are better.

i suppose you can argue that one or two players on teams are not good enough and are "carried" by the rest of the talent, but how do you know the inner workings of that team? maybe they bring a teamwork dynamic that you aren't seeing, or they're essential in the shotcalling.
