Sivir spell shield vs Nasus.
Sivir spell shield isn't properly blocking Nasus Spirit Fire upfront burst. The DoT I know will deal damage but, it should block the upfront burst.

Spell shields don't work on aoe attacks. This includes Morgana's Shields and Banshee Veil.
A wiki's page says Spell Shields don't block Spirit Fire - Most of those "damage/debuff/CC as long as they stay on the area" spells ignore Spell Shields, but most of the "Initial bursts" (i.e. Void Oose, Hail of Arrows) are blockable. It is likely a bug... or some sort of specific coding.
You really want to be blocking wither anyways
