Dardoch Out from CLG, picked up by.....Team Liquid?!

AzureDragoon··2 votes·1,007 views

Late yesterday, news was released about a major roster change, as CLG gave Dardoch the boot, with the official statement found here: http://clgaming.net/news/847-farewell-dardoch-welcome-omargod

At the end of the statement, and confirmed by Team Liquid's Twitter, Dardoch is now returning to Team Liquid. The team that Dardoch less than a month ago was saying on stream that he had no respect for? The Player who in less than a year, has been fired/released/traded/contract terminated by 3 teams, all citing behavior as the issue? 8 months ago, the documentary Team Liquid: Breaking Point was released which highlighted a number of Dardoch's issues.

Seriously... why?

I wonder if they're bringing him back to Liquid just to bench him. :^)

It certainly says a lot about what TL's plans are, in that they still aren't settling on a roster at Week 8, and are now looking to replace Reignover and Inori in Jungle, and that Goldenglue is likely back to being benched again. Because by picking up Dardoch immediately with him being dropped from CLG's roster, I'm pretty sure is effectively saying they rather lose Reignover to free up an import spot for Mickey in mid lane, instead of losing Piglet in bot lane. But why not play Inori instead then if it's purely a case of freeing up a spot for Mickey?

When it comes to Dardoch, the question has to be asked, you know what happened the last time Dardoch was on your team, why would you bring him back? You now have two more teams, who have both said effectively that Dardoch has no place on their teams with his continued behavior problems dragging their teams down. I have no idea what TL is hoping to accomplish here. I certainly wouldn't say its to be a shotcaller, because we know how Dardoch team communication is when playing from behind, and its not good.

Reignover being replaced by Dardoch? Reignover? Dude, this is just a chance for Reignover to go to a better team and smash. TL is making a really big mistake.

The statement you linked is about as strong a statement from a team getting rid of someone as we're going to get.

As for his new team, this is what Dardoch said about them prior to week 5.
