As a relatively new person wanting to watch e-sports..

I find it hard to watch the games live due to timing in real life. Alright, cool.

That being said, I haven't been watching the games being rebroadcasted either because I have not been able to find a way to do so without having to look at the score beforehand. I can dodge the boards and not look at twitch/youtube comments, but when you go onto the actual e-sports page to watch you cannot dodge the current score and/or the next matches coming up.

Alright, so I can't dodge it on the home page and sub pages, I figured I'd just try to find the actual pages to watch the past games and/or the rebroadcast.

Well now we get into the portion where I can't navigate around the website at all!

Let's go from firsthand experience trying to find the past recorded games together.

Main page. Alright we see the next matches coming up and their respective times. We also see some news and scrolling down looks like more news and articles. At the top we see a bunch of stuff but you immediately see WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Alright let's try there.

World Championship page. Alright great. We see the same thing as the main page regarding scheduling, but with rebroadcast info as well. Clicking on the first match that pops up we get the team standings and line-up. Alright.. no idea where to find video's yet. Let's go back a page.

At the top we see quarterfinals / semi finals / finals and above that we see schedule / teams & standings / stats / about. Alright so those 4 are out.. and 'semi finals' looks like a decent option.. because we are looking for past broadcasts.

Alright, now we see the scores and teams of the matches. Awesome, but still no idea where to watch the games. Let's try clicking on one of the matches. and see if there is a sub directory we didn't see on the other page.

Oh, now we have the video's. and a giant banner telling us who won.

Fairly easy to find.. assuming you know what your looking for.

But.. there's no way to hide the scores, so you already know who is going to win, which is a shame.

It'd be nice to have our login credentials allow for some options such as hiding the scores and requiring a 'see results' button to be pressed to see the scores.. if we don't want to watch those teams play.

It might be also nice to have a section to see all of the games 'live', from where you last left off watching the world series.. Kind of like the tv thing people have where you can record the shows in advance and then watch them when you have time, but in this case it just shows you the video's in order of occurence during worlds without the scoreboard being present.

I don't know, I guess I'm just grumbling because I couldn't watch my favourite teams matches without knowing the end score beforehand.

I recommend accessing the matches via Surrender@20. Aznbeat and Moobeat do an excellent job of keeping the matchups spoiler-free. It will simply say "Team 1 vs. Team 2, Games 1, 2, 3, 4, 5".

Not only that, though, but the games will be timestamped to start RIGHT as the match begins, preventing any pre-match discussion or results spoilers from previous days or matches.

There is a vod page on the league of legends website and it does not have spoilers. I have bookmarked that page and go to it directly when I want to watch a game and it works well for me.

Do they not archive them on their twitch page?

You know what i do? i go on youtube and search for the highlights it's better and faster for me than watching a 40-50 minute game. (unless it's live)
