Blitzcrank Mains, what do your adc's hate most about you, and how do you adapt?

I often find my adc's telling me to be a tank, and go out in the front lines to tank damage.. around levels 3-8, before transitioning to mid game, where I utterly decimate the enemy team, then slowly fall off into the end-game.

I've been getting an S rank on him thus far, about 20 games in, and I find his early game usefulness, entirely relies upon the enemy bot lane to mis-position themselves, to grab a decent hook.

And more often then not, when I do finally throw out a hook, and grab the enemy adc or support, I pop them into the air, drop an exhaust onto the higher damage dealing of the pair.., and then I'm just sitting there auto attacking for pitiful damage.. and my adc ends up dying, or running away with very low hp,, because I forced an engage.

Of course I try to pull them into our tower for the most part, but it's not always feasible to allow them to push towards the tower, for the additional damage.

Is my early game just bad? Or is there some basic blitzcrank knowledge I just don't know?

Blitzcrank mains, I need your help!

It depends per match up. It also depends on how well you know your adc champs. Not every adc champs will be as strong as other and sometimes pulling people is actually wrong to do in these scenarios. For example, your against a Draven and Nautilus and you are partnered with a Varus; I wouldn't recommend pulling anybody until you and Varus get their first spike or until he can poke 1 of them down or both. Blitz is probably the easiest support to climb up with due peoples in low elo's inability to play against him properly but you do need to know who blitz goes well with and when you are good to go all in with your adc.

With that said, I will not say it is your fault you lost lane, it is also ADC's job to know how to position themselves when you go to grab and try and take best advantage of every grab. Not every grab needs to be a kill but every grab does need to have a follow-up to take full advantage of it. But remember: Every grab will most likely have a counter follow-up in which will pull attraction on to your adc. So who you grab and when matters tremendously. My best tip I could give you is, think of your match-up your against. Don't be that blitzcrank who says "I pulled therefore I did my job." Pay attention to the items and stats. If you're partnered with a Lucian and he has no mana; it's probably a good idea not to pull until he regens some of it.
