So much throws... BR had trouble to beat LATAM.
How came Counter Logic to lose to players of that region?

PaiN gaming is actually a fairly good team to be honest, they could be in NA / EU LCS and be a mid/lower tier team, getting a game against an unmotivated CLG isn't all that surprising.
Also, it's allstars, so it's players from different teams.
All-star team that has never played together composed of many different players from teams fluctuating in skill != The best IWC team that has ever existed, destroying their region and all enemies in the Qualifier.
PaiN gave Yoe Flash Wolves, a team who took two games off of KOO Tigers in groups, a run for their money twice. PaiN was not a horrible team. It's no surprise that they beat a CLG that, as user Ebay Account earlier stated, was unmotivated. More specifically, CLG picked fan favorites and goofed around. A 2015 Worlds era CLG (I say this due to CLG presently being a different roster) that had any desire whatsoever to win that game easily could have. It stands true that Wildcard regions have mostly never been near the skill level of larger regions.
CLG just couldn't power play through lane dominance vs the Mylon-Kami-Brtt trio of laners as easily as they expected, and as worked out in NALCS for them, since all three of these guys are actually good, and at that point with Zion having bad performances and with team morale low they just got beaten by a competent team
you know...this is a teamgame, and all.stars is randomly throwing players together - so they have veryl ittle time to practice and get some synergy going. Therefor All-star usually is a little worse than having normal-teams in terms of gameplay. All-Stars is mostly for fun, don´t compare it to actual competitive LoL.
that being said, i really enjoyed that game - LAT really got a lot of insanly good initiations in, looking a lot better than i expected.
