What does this mean for cloud 9? Who can they get that would really help

Another nail in the coffin. Hate to say it, whoever is making these decisions needs to be fired

c9 lost their mid laner who was a shot caller and quite good mechanical player
they then gave the shot calling role to meteos and got a mid laner who supposedly a good mechanical player

This did not work. So instead of going back to the drawing board from the point where they lost hai, they continue with this train wreck. They essential removed a proven jungler and a shot caller for a supposedly good mid laner

No disrespect to incarnation but he hasn't done anything this split in lane but lose or barely go even. Meteos is a good jungler. They should have gotten rid of incarnation and just get a mid laner who has shot calling experience

Sad truth is, if that was Hai on TF and Meteos on Rek'sai, they would have won that game. Incarnati0n is a bust. There are plenty of top solo Q players that don' translate to Pro play. He is one of them. They could at least save their season if they just benched Incarnation for now, and let him try next split.

i think incarnation will be good eventuly and i dont think he is that much of the problem. Meteos play style was completely revolved around the fact that hai roamed early and did things so meteos could get more farm, incarnation doesnt do that which is a shame, but if they can get a jungler that can shotcall i think they can still be ok. The reason they lost yesterday was about 30~ min in when they were setting up for baron balls and lemonnation got caught on and gave them baron.

I dont know how long hai can play with his wrist injury.

Well yes, it's not like the headline will be, "meteos, throw out of game house by force"

No, it's likely that there was pressure on them to step down.

Hai stepped down because C9 is a top tier team, and they were barely scrapping as a top tier team. Part of that reason was him. He had a very limited champion pool and his playing was deteriorating almost from game to game. We finally got to see why that was (though I kind of suspected it myself when I saw the brace). His injury was not allowing him to practice/play at 100%. In any sports an injury sufficient enough to affect your play means you're out, at the very least until it heals.

Incarnation was a bet that didn't pay off, I completely agree they should start finding a replacement for him. If Meteos felt he was part of the problem, I can see why he stepped down. The decision to bring Hai back in, I'm sure was made last minute.

Well incarnation hasn't won one lane match up yet. Besides vs TSM, no one has really bothered to camp him so him losing every match up is a let down. Against Fenix he was down 60 vs by 22 min. 30 by 12 min

Little know fact but William never wanted to be a pro this long anyway. But he stuck around for the rest of the team. Everyone moves on. Get used to it.

Im sure Aphromoo an xspecial and maybe doublelift and a few others will fallow as well.

Its season 5 its a passing of an era and the entrance of a new one.

Sad but true!

very sad, but maybe a new era of league of legends players a good thing, show some diversity and maybe get a good variety of better teams everywhere.

they should just give LOD a shot as their midlaner and put incarnation in their challenger team for the time being.

Well they are retiring because this is a job that doesn't pay out and has no future. Remember, eventually, the game does, and you are left with no real world experience to actually get a job.

Quite honestly, you have to expect them to quit especially if they just aren't getting any where.

Meteos stepped down so his reputation as a League of Legends player won't be ruined. This means he can easily join a different team. He will most likely stay with C9 until he joins a different team that has a chance of becoming a strong team in the NA LCS.
