SKT Season 5 Worlds Champion Chart and Skin Discussion

I LOVE statistics! I also love skins. So it makes sense that after watching Worlds yesterday, what I found myself thinking most about was what the SKT T-1 (2) skins would be, and then make a chart of how many each player won on a champion, which in the case of our champs, is all games but one. The champs are ranked in order of appearance, and bold text means the champion was played during the finals while a strikethrough means the champ already has a Worlds champ skin, reducing their chances to have another in my opinion. So, here are the choices Riot has to work with!

From this chart, we can narrow each role down to two or three champions.

For Top Lane, although Fiora was played more, she wasn't played in the finals at all while Rumble was twice and with great results, so both are strong possibilities. Final Rank: Rumble Fiora

Junglers all throughout the tournament played Elise and Rek'sai when left open almost 100% of the time. Elise was more favored by bengi, and was played in the finals, along with Jarvan IV and Rek'sai. Jarvan already has a Worlds skin with Fnatic already, so that brings his chances down. Final Rank: Elise RekSai and maybe JarvanIV

Faker will be known for two things at this tournament: being a two-time World Champion, and getting that second with incredible plays with Ryze. There's almost no doubt that will be the champion Riot picks to represent the premiere mid-laner, but there are champions to fall back on like Lulu, who was one of the most popular picks at Worlds 2015. Final Rank: Ryze and maybe Lulu Kassadin

Despite being the most popular ADC at this year's Worlds, Kalista was barely touched by Bang, and he instead favored Tristana (more played in general, less played in Finals) and Sivir (less played in general, more played in Finals). Final Rank: Sivir Tristana

Wolf was a predator with Alistar, playing him the most throughout the tournament as well the Finals. However, he adopted Tahm Kench after use was started, who is tied with Shen for games won with, and unlike Tahm, was played by SKT during the Finals. Shen does have a finals skin however, so it's doubtful it would be chosen again, despite the high success the few teams that used him had. Final Rank: Alistar and maybe TahmKench Shen

Now, after all that, you can safely assume that this group of champions are the most likely we'll see a team banner for sometime in the future! Rumble Elise Ryze Sivir Alistar

It was already confirmed that Renekton would be one of them through a twitter post.

I'd go with Trist over Sivir, since Sivir is already getting a seasonal skin.

I just hope we don't get yet another damn Sivir skin. We just got Victorious Sivir, which I was never a supporter of, seeing how huge Rek'Sai was through the whole year (even being prioritized way more than Sivir at worlds), and being a champion who found success in the Spring Meta, during the Cinderhulk meta, and during the Juggernaut Meta, but Sivir? But alright.

But you just gave Sivir a skin. Bang was huge on Tristana. This wasn't a "Oh he played one time and got a Penta" type of thing, it was a recurrent pick. I seriously hope that is not yet ANOTHER Sivir skin. It would be her 3rd skin for this year (even if the SKT skin is released in 2016). Kalista also got Champsionship skin, so hopefully they won't be repeating champions for all these End-Season skins.

I'd line it up like this:

Fiora Elise Ryze (I don't think they'd do Azir for EasyHoon) Tristana Alistar

I would buy Gnar RekSai and TahmKench skins, just cause I wanna see how they would look

Now the thing is i am not sure if s4 champs had a say or not in the skins but the champions were not chosen from what they played the most at worlds (top lane actually played 9 different champs during 2014 worlds).

The SSW skins were chosen from the champions that each player had the biggest Impact with throughout the year, the TPA skins from Season 2 were the champions played in the final match.

I am pretty sure when skt won their first worlds they got asked what champions they would like a skin made for and they got to choose but not sure if the same will happen this year.

Either which way things go the skins wont get released till around May generally after the spring split so there is still time and a lot of discussion, because even though the players might want a skin for a certain champion the concepts might not make it through or pass well by the champions so alternatives may have to be considered too.

I am looking forward to whatever comes out and a Ryze with broccoli hair would be kinda funny lol

They already released the champions that they want skins for.

Renekton, Elise, Ryze, Kalista, Alistar

It was mentioned in an interview that was posted on Surrender at 20.
