Hey, tacticians!

The past several days have been a whirlwind for us as we’ve watched everyone playing Teamfight Tactics during the beta. Heading into live this week, we want to take a minute to have a good time and recognize some of the top tacticians by MMR.

A ton of you also braved long login queues over the weekend to play—needless to say, if many of you were able to play as much as you wanted to, this list might look very different.

Quick disclaimer: This is just a for fun thing. We’re not planning to give any rewards or publish MMR on an ongoing basis, but we might do more like this in the future if you enjoy it! Oh—and one more thing: MMR in TFT is different from other League modes (e.g., 2400 MMR in TFT isn’t the same as 2400 MMR on Summoner’s Rift).

As someone without a PBE account and who is happy to wait until live release, it's probably a bit of a dick move to ask... But how about publishing a ranked list of the top 500 players who waited the longest in queue?

I win like 10 plus a day which is roughly 6 hours of gameplay just for those. I did miss day one and have had to wait a few hours in queue and a few hours on (losses). How did I not make it to this? Is that one day enough to knock me out of do they put in like 20 hours a day and abuse duplication hacks etc.?

To be fair on what you stated, i'm in the top 500 and missed 2 days + afking in lobby for hours (sorry login queue people). Many of people put in wins and Top 4 finishes. There were very very few games where I ended bottom 4. This was just for fun from riot and personally didnt know that there would be a MMR ranking/ was an MMR for this. I wouldn't worry until there is actual ranked system for this.

would you rather all streamers wait 26hrs in q then while you were in q with all the other ppl, you couldn't even watch the game either cuz none online was streaming it?

you comment is quite stupid it benefits both ppl in q and riot being able to promote the game and giving ppl a chance to watch the game.

(also not all streamers had priority q accs only some did)

i think more ppl got enjoyment from watching streamers play the game then the 20-30 ppl that would have gotten in over the 20-30streamers with prio q :)

In Fairness, streamers would still get to stream it. In fact, the fact that everyone would have to wait for logging in would mean more exposure for lesser known streamers like myself. Yes that would mean less content from bignames, but there wouldn't be a shortage of content overall.

It'd just be more variety since virtually anyone with a computer could get viewers since they have access to the content after they wait long enough.

i wish this was how it worked but you would still drown in the sea of other 1-100 viewers streams big streamers would just do other things in q time the way they got all the viewers they alrdy had/have and none would really go to small streams they would rather watch their fav streamer do what they normally do then go to a random no viewer stream.

i wish it worked how you said it do but it just doesn't sadly at least imo. ( i could be wrong tho)

you can stream for 9years and be 0 viewers if none host or raids you or shout you out now days it's sad but its how its most of the times

i wish this was how it worked but you would still drown in the sea of other 1-100 viewers streams big streamers would just do other things in q time the way they got all the viewers they alrdy had/have and none would really go to small streams they would rather watch their fav streamer do what they normally do then go to a random no viewer stream.

i wish it worked how you said it do but it just doesn't sadly at least imo. ( i could be wrong tho)

you can stream for 9years and be 0 viewers if none host or raids you or shout you out now days it's sad but its how its most of the times

I said smaller streamers. Not 0 viewer, was referring to streamers that average 10-50ish range. If you have less than that you'd be too far down the directory to see any benefits.

Also, the directory is a lot less saturated than the league directory was since they can now be listed under both league and team fight tactics.

If you're going to be salty about not being able to play, blame it on the multiple times you didn't log immediately after a maintenance, not on Riot. PBE was never meant to be a large server, they're not going to spend stupid money on a test server so that the huge influx of players can play once in a decade, they don't need that. How the hell did they manage to play so many games? I played 2 after waiting 12 hours then went to sleep with PC on and guess what, I came tomorrow and found out it crashed?

personally i manged to get in 3 times right after patch and manged to play like 40-50games i missed 1 patch and got error code 18 but the first 3 patches that went out it wasn't to bad to get in if you camped when new patch came live

I played with a guy that was the 80th best TF back then and by today's standards he was like silver 1.

Love the idea. Maybe publish the top mmr’s monthly? I believe Hearthstone did something similar with their Arena Mode where they published average win rate in the mode on a monthly basis. Fun to see who the consistent players!
