EDIT: this has been awesome so far! Thanks for keeping this productive :) lots of great ideas coming in, and a fair amount that overlap with some tuff were already talking about which is great to see! Also some cool unique ideas that I haven't seen before so keep em coming!

About a month ago I replied to a post stating that we don’t always pivot to requests/demands that come up on social media since it can be pretty disruptive to our usual development plans. While I still stand by that, I thought there might a productive way that we could work together with you guys, our players, to continue making League the best game it can be now and into the future. You’re just as passionate about League as we are, so deliberately tapping into that more than we currently are could help surface some really killer ideas. We’re starting to hammer out our roadmaps for the next year, and while I can’t promise we’ll be able to get around to anything that comes up in this thread, it’d be awesome to actually plan for some of the cool ideas you guys have if they seem realistic for us to do, are impactful for players, and don't overlap too substantially with some of our other plans. Squeezing ideas in randomly throughout the year when we run into them on social media is great, but going about it deliberately may help us be more consistent with getting around to more of them.

Now, to put a little structure in place, I want you guys to think of this as though you ran into Tryndamere on an elevator somewhere and needed to quickly sell him on your idea and why it’s one of the best things we can make for players. Pretend you only have 30-45 seconds to do it, so be concise, be convincing, and think about each word you use!

Disclaimer: While my primary day to day focus is around actual gameplay, feel free to make suggestions for anything League related - just know that ideas will get a highly variable amount of scrutiny from members on different teams internally. I’m also not creating this to be the next meme machine - it should just be a fun, organic way for the community so show what ideas they have to make League great!

Now...how to structure your pitch for us and other players to see!

Feature/Suggestion Name: If you were to tell someone the name of your idea, what would it be?

Opportunity/Problem Statement: What problem are you trying to solve? 1-3 sentences

Brief Description: Describe your idea in 1-3 sentences.

Target Audience: Who cares about this? Ranked players? New Players? LCS viewers? Everyone?

If your pitch requires something visual to get the point across.

Since few of you have probably done something like this before, if you're stuck feel free to use my example at the bottom of this post as a reference point! It's below the next section around guidelines and expectation

**Guidelines/ Expectation Setting:

  1. Once again, there’s no guarantee we’ll do any of these, but if there’s something that comes up that seems really really cool, I’d be surprised if we didn’t find a way to make it happen in 2018 and beyond!

  2. We may end up implementing something that has no upvotes, but pass on the three most popular ideas - but ideas with a lot of upvotes by nature will probably get more visibility/discussion

  3. If you like someone’s idea - please just upvote it as opposed to replying with a +1, or replying with suggestions for how they should change their idea - I want to keep this as focused as possible.

  4. Don’t spam post your idea multiple times to drown out others.

  5. Please don’t troll with your posts, I want this to be a fun idea generator and will probably look to get troll posts removed

  6. Balance opinions are off the table - Telling us to delete Teemo or to gut Twitch are not ideas and will not be actioned on.

  7. Champ rework requests also not applicable **

EXAMPLE IDEA PITCH:

Feature/Suggestion Name: Enemy Vision Here Ping

Opportunity/Problem Statement: As a jungler I constantly find myself walking through a bush on my way to gank a lane only to be told “oh that was warded” after the fact. I just want a way for people to quickly warn me that there’s vision so I can find a more creative path that skirts around it, or just go elsewhere. Nothing sucks more than sitting in a bush for 45 seconds hoping the enemy moves far enough forward for you to gank, only to have a ward die right underneath you.

Brief Description: Like the rest of the pings that already exist, it would be great to have one that has a unique symbol/minimap icon/audio queue that lets it stand out from the rest of the pings so that players can easily communicate with each other, maybe even leading to less toxicity!

Target Audience: Any player with good map awareness!

Feature/Suggestion Name: Death Recap Rework

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Currently, Death Recap is not correctly indicating damage taken upon death. (I.E. Sneaky of C9 killed by Infernal Drake with Stattik Shiv)

Brief Description: It would be great if there was a pie chart indicating enemy champion's damage to you. Clicking on each "slice of pie" would further detail what spells/auto attacks did AD/AP/True damage and how much damage was dealt.

Target Audience: Anyone who dies in LoL.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Ally Ultimate Cooldown Ping

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Often I wish I could ping the remaining cooldown on my allies ultimates, or ping that the ult is available. Helping to signal to allies that I'm about to make a play and I need their ultimate to help.

Brief Description: For example: I'm Gnar, we're teamfighting in the midlane, and my Miss Fortune's ultimate is up. I'd love to be able to alt-click my R to ping "Gnar Ultimate (R) - Ready" and immediatly after, ping the green circle above MF's head to ping "Miss Fortune Ultimate (R) - Ready". That would signal to my team that I'm about to jump in and stun and that MF should be ready to Ace them with her ult. Also helps your team if a player isn't good about pinging cooldowns. Would be nice to let the team know that the sona ult will be up in 10 seconds, even if she isn't pinging it herself.

Target Audience: Players who don't play on comms. So much easier to ping than it is to type.

Feature/Suggestion: Daily/Weekly Missions.

Opportunity/Problem Statement: We feel there is not a lot of missions available atm outside of big events, and you could create some randomly generated missions to always keep League interesting for people who doesn't crush ranked or people wanting a bit more loot/BE.

Brief Description: Make a generator of missions (for example: "play x games as a champion from Noxus/Demacia/Ionia/...", "Win x games with a champion mastered (mastery 5 or more)",...) where we can win BE, Orange essences, Chests/Keys, etc... and make some generating daily and some weekly. Also don't make the missions where you need to play a champion not mastered (mastery 2 or less) available in ranked.

Audience: Anyone who doesn't particularly play for a clear objective, or anyone wanting to win a bit more things and not afraid of discovering new things.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Ward Tab for the Collections menu.

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Sometimes I want to see what wards I have before jumping into a game so I don't feel rushed in picking one along with my runes and mastery setup. I'd like to look at my collection of wards, too, much like my collection of skins. It's a small addition, but certainly something I'd love to see!

Brief Description: Simply put, add a tab where we can see what wards we own. Perhaps, like with champion ability demonstrations, we can see the spawn and despawn animations upon selecting a specific ward?

Target Audience: Anyone who loves looking at their collections and the average player who wants to plan out their aesthetic before getting into queue. The only other option we have right now for this is looking in the store, and that doesn't account for exclusive wards, such as Blue Essence collector.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Pre-purchase/Purchase Queue

Opportunity/Problem Statement:

Buying in the shop can take a little more time than you'd like, especially when you're not sure what multiple components you can afford at a glance. I'd like a feature which helps you get back onto the Fields of Justice by minimizing shopping time.

Brief Description:

The Pre-purchase feature would simply be a few slots in the store, in which you place items you want to buy as soon as they are available. Clicking to buy an item while not in the shop will put an item in the purchase queue, or you can drag the item there. As soon as the first item in your queue is available to you (due to required level or gold in your bag) it is immediately purchased upon reaching the shop.

Gold required to purchase that item (and all items before it in the queue) is shown underneath it. Components of an item in your queue is not purchased for you, only the full item that you place there (though you can utilize the queue to build a full item in the order you desire).

Target Audience:

Any player already knowing which items they want to purchase and in what order.

Feature: Engineer's Boots (Upgrade to any upgraded boot) Problem Statement :You have to waste one of your 6 slots to control wards if you want to use them in mid/late game. Brief Description : Version 1: Combining upgraded boots with e.g. a stopwatch allows you to store control wards in the spot that is occupied by the boots. Activate the Item to place a control ward. Version 2:Buying Ruby Sightstone enables you to place up to 2 contol wards at the same time and store your control wards in your boots. Target Audience : Bronze 5 as well as Faker

Feature/Suggestion Name: New Cursor Pointer

Opportunity/Problem Statement: It looks pretty old compared to how League has evolved. It's like something out of Warcraft III.

Brief Description: Make it easy on the eyes and preferrably give us multiple choices in-case the new Default would not fit for everyone. Leave the one we have right now as a Legacy option.

Target Audience: Every player.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Behavior Report Card

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Currently, no player has any idea of the standing of their account until they are punished. Also, a player has little to no visibility of what their reports are doing, and if they are even doing a good job of reporting.

Brief Description: A regular status card should be sent out to let people know of how their account is standing in terms of behavior, what their reports are doing, and what they need to do to get back into good standing if they were punished. Currently it is hard to trust a system that gives no information. You just press a button that can feel like it does nothing, and that's it. For players getting punished, it just seems like you get a punishment out of the blue. More clarity will make it easier to trust the system, and the efforts being made to combat bad behavior.

Target Audience: Everyone who ever reports someone, really. Nobody likes dealing with toxicity and having no idea what the system is doing.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Pre-set Summoner Spells

Opportunity/Problem Statement: We've all forgotten to switch summoner spells after changing roles from last game. This would help alleviate going into game at a disadvantage.

Brief Description: Much like item sets, allow players to create a default pair of summoner spells for each role. When champ select begins, it would switch your summoners to your default for the role you selected. So, for example, if you default Flash/Smite for jungle, those will already be selected. You can then change them as normal while in champ select.

Target Audience: Everyone.

Feature/Suggestion Name: "Please ward here" ping

Opportunity/Problem Statement: An objective or strategic position needs to be warded, but I don't have any wards and would like to quickly ask for someone to ward, without having to explicitly type it in the chat.

Brief Description: This would be pretty much exactly as the "enemy vision here" ping, but a friendlier color (Green/blue depending on colorblind necessities). Preferably, it would be united with the already existing ping on a ping wheel such as the ones we have but with 2 options instead of the single one (Or co-existing as both a single option as well)

Target Audience: The same audience of the current "enemy vision here ping" and/or including: supports who have already used all 4 wards of their sightstone or can't let any of the 3 already placed wards disappear, anyone with a warding trinket on cooldown, people too far away to move in and ward themselves.

Model viewer for cosmetic asset

Opportunity/Problem Statement:

Currently, when we decide to unlock a cosmetic in the client, there is either no preview of what it looks like in the game (skin) or the preview is to small to get a good idea of the content (ward/chroma) So, for player to get an idea of what they will get, they need to go on tier site, slowing the decision making of unlocking or not.

Brief Description:

When you are about to unlock a cosmetic, with shop or hextech crafting, make the pop up window bigger so a reasonable size in-game model of the content can be show next to the actual stuff (unlocking sentence and piece of the splash art when applicable) Bonus if it could also be used in the new skin tab (but not a priority over the shop preview)

Target Audience:

Player who buy cosmetics

Feature/Suggestion Name: Weekly Challenge missions Opportunity/Problem Statement: Not enough XP/BE for first wins and lack of missions between events. Brief Description: There were a few champion release oriented missions in past, and Zoe's one was pretty cool one because it used champion mechanics as the objective. So why not give us a randomly generated missions that would earn us XP/BE/OE for playing champions that belong to our champion pool and using their abilities to the fullest? Or challenge us to experiment with a guy maybe not from the bottom of our most played list, but similar to the champs we already play. Target Audience: Everyone. Mockups/Screenshots: You get random missions to choose each week for different champions, choosing one disables the rest. For example:

Honing your skill: Virtuoso

  • Win 2 games as Jhin
  • Snare champions 20 times using Captive Audience
  • Execute 10 champions with fourth shot from Whisper or Curtain call. Award: 2000 XP

Experimenter: Tiny Master of Evil

  • Play 5 games as Veigar
  • Stun multiple enemies with one cast of Event Horizon 20 times
  • Reach 1000AP as Veigar Award: 500 BE

Feature/Suggestion: Being able to change the in-game Champion's VoiceOver Language

Opportunity/Problem Statement: A great number of LoL players prefers to change the in-game champion's VO to the english version - mostly those who are from regions that don't have English as main language. Even we know that it is done a lot, there's some insecurity and misinformation for those who want to do it. Personally I appreciate a lot the work from the VO actors and actresses in my language (portuguese), but I think people just want one thing: the option to change it.

Brief Description: The player would be able to configure the champion VO language he/she wants. Probably only while not in game, or maybe so.

Target Audience: Mostly the players from regions that do not have English as their main language.

Disclaimer: I enjoy LoL but not PvP, so I play almost exclusively Coop vs AI. I'm always looking for ways to improve LoL's delivery of PvE as an experience.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Hard Bots

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Coop vs AI as a PvE experience is limited by fast game times, which prevent players from reaching full builds.

Brief Description: Intermediate bots are fun but easy to beat quickly (15-20 minutes), which cuts off the end game experience. Doom Bots are "hard" but not as representative of normal play, roles, and champion diversity. A less extreme PvE hard difficulty with some bot cheats (faster cooldowns, more passive gold earned, free teleport) would fill the gap.

Target Audience: All PvE players.

Feature/Suggestion Name: New player mentoring in Coop vs AI

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Let volunteers be auto-matched with new players in a guided easy bots game.

Brief Description: PvE players tend to be some of LoL's friendliest, and the Honor system further identifies the most helpful. Use this and custom matchmaking queues to let mentors be paired with new players in Coop vs AI games to teach basics like towers, last hitting, warding, and even nontoxic communication. Custom in-game UI or pings could make teaching even easier.

Target Audience: New players, PvE players looking for new ways to interact with the game.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Open source Coop vs AI bots

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Let the community develop AI for new and harder coop bots, to increase the bot roster and its gameplay potential.

Brief Description: Taking a cue from StarCraft II, give the community access to the bot AI and the tools to develop new ones for new characters and more bot skills. This also has the potential for algorithmically trained bots. A submission process or custom queue could be used to introduce these bots into the Coop vs AI pool.

Target Audience: Computer programmers, artificial intelligence researchers, colleges, PvE players.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Mastery and partial chests for Coop vs AI

Opportunity/Problem Statement: PvE "doesn't count" even though it's a valid social and training environment. PvE players end up with excess keys and no chests or mastery.

Brief Description: Chests in PvP are already rationed by grades and drop rates. Applying percentile grading to Coop vs AI would still work to reward the top performers, and consuming a full chest drop to achieve a partial chest would discourage PvP players from grinding in PvE, while rewarding PvE players in the long run.

Target Audience: Diehard PvE players.

Feature/Suggestion Name: 3v5 (or 5v8, or 8v10) Intermediate Coop vs AI queue

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Intermediate bots are "easy" for a balanced 5v5. Having more bots than humans ups the challenge.

Brief Description: Coop vs AI games are often "ruined" by human players running scripts that cause them to mindlessly jungle. However, this can lead to effective 3v5 matches that are... actually really fun. Being able to queue for a mismatched game like this would be an easy way to provide a "hard" PvE experience with no script changes.

Target Audience: Diehard PvE players.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Champion-specific end of game stats

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Win contribution is mostly visible from kills and damage dealt, but there are a plethora of champions (e.g. supports, tanks) who contribute in other, less visible ways. Their contribution to the game often goes unnoticed, while it should be celebrated.

Brief Description: Taking the idea form Overwatch, have some champion-specific stats show in the honor/end of game screen where the performances of the best players are highlighted. E.g. "Soraka heals: 40K (30% of all damage dealt to team)" or "Blitzcrank grab accuracy: 78% (95th percentile in server)", or "Average number of champions hit by malphite ultimate: 3.2"

Target Audience: Any player (especially those who don't play carries)

Feature/Suggestion Name: Highlights sharing

Opportunity/Problem Statement: At the moment highlights do not feel like they are well integrated into the client.

Brief Description: You should be able to either

  1. send highlights through the chat function to friends or
  2. select a highlight that now shows on your profile.

Target Audience: Everyone with some sick plays ;)

Feature/Suggestion Name: Team chat in loading screen

Opportunity/Problem Statement: The loading screen occupies the whole video, it can lasts for 3+ minutes if a player is on a low spec computer and the players have nothing interesting to do in it (and thus many alt-tab while loading).

Brief Description: Give us something to do in game load screen, the first thing that comes to my mind is extending the team chat from lobby and champ select to be available in the loading screen, and maybe to carry over the content to the in-game chat.

Target Audience: Anyone

Feature/Suggestion Name: In Client boards

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Devs mentioned that not everyone uses the boards, some people only use reddit, etc. so the community is fragmented

Brief Description: add the boards to the bleeping client so everyone who plays can communicate

Target Audience: devs and the players

Feature/Suggestion Name: Switch summoner spell order button for Unsealed Spellbook

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Sometimes when you use Unsealed Spellbook you end up with your summoner spells placed in the wrong key, for example you start with: summoner 14 summoner 4 then you replace your flash with teleport for the sick gank summoner 14 summoner 12 But then teamfight phase starts and you want your flash back but you also want to keep tp just in case summoner 4 summoner 12 So here you are, with flash on the wrong key.

Brief Description: Just a small button beetween the other 2 to swap the summoner spell arround: summoner 4 summoner 12 -> summoner 12 summoner 4

Target Audience: Anyone that uses their summoner spells always on the same key.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Ability to toggle "Target Champions only" on and off.

Opportunity/Problem Statement:

I find it extremely uncomfortable to have to hold down another key while pressing my abilities, moving my champion and attacking enemies at the same time.

I am trying to solve an issue of discomfort for myself and a lot of players as well as frustration.

Brief Description: Similar to how you can toggle Map skins on and off. Allow us to be able to toggle "Target champions only" on and off at will.

Allow us to assign a keybind to "Toggle Target Champions only" so we can toggle it on and off at will with the press of a button.

Let's say I want to keybind it to T.

When I'm cs'ing I can toggle it off, but when I'm in a teamfight I can press T to toggle it on and conduct my role in the teamfight without fear of auto attacking minions and towers which results in me getting killed and extremely frustrated.

A small system message could appear in chat "Toggle Target Champions Only: On" and "Toggle Target Champions Only: Off"

Tower diving and accidentally auto attacking a creep or the tower is pretty frustrating.

Target Audience: Every player who uses attack move in their games.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Practice mode option update:

  • Advance game environment by 30 minutes

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Pretty much in practice mode the AI can never keep up with you and getting them to reach full build takes the entire time you can spend in the mode and even then they may not reach full build.

Brief Description: By pressing a button, the enemy bot gains levels and gold equal to 30 minutes into a match, Baron spawns and any delayed effects activated. Only difference is it doesn't advance the in match clock and so you can do this as many times as you wish till the enemy bot has enough gold to reach full build, along with gaining the necessary levels that it needs to catch up with you.

Target Audience: Practice mode players who want to test out their builds against an equal leveled/fed enemy

Feature/Suggestion Name: Champion Custom Keybindings

Opportunity/Problem Statement: I would like to have different key bindings for different champions. As a main Bard and main Morgana who uses alt+key for both self cast and ability indicator (not sure of the name, used to see the range of an ability), I would like having alt+w for self cast on Bard and alt+w for indicator on Morgana. Same issue comes with Morgan's and Zoe's E (self casts and indicator) and many other times I miss it.

Brief Description: Be able to save a custom keybinding for an specific champion. Not necessary for every champion, but just a few (3-5).

Target Audience: Anyone who like me uses the same keys for different things (yeah, I already tried changing keys but can't get used to it).

Feature/Suggestion Name: Toast notifications

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Sometimes a friend sends a message or invites you to a game or something and you don't notice because the client only makes a little sound and puts taskbar icon on orange

Brief Description: Please use Windows 10 toast system or something similar to show new chat messages or game invites, just like Discord, Battle.net or Steam do.

Target Audience: Everyone

Solves: Does not solve any problems on its own, but could be an interesting experiment in making League games more unique.

Description: Weather like Rain, Ice, Wind, Tides, Fog, Sunshine, or Heavy Rain would affect League games with wide-spread subtle effects. For example, Ice or Wind giving you bonus movement speed if you walk in a straight line. Things to think about when thinking about weather: forecast in lobby (influences picks), Quadrant-based (red/blue top, red/blue bot), time limited, rotating, champion influenced (Janna, Nunu, Nocturne, etc.), item influenced (weather boots?), delayed (starts after minute X).

Feature/Suggestion Name: Jungler always gets bleeping smite

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Sometimes the jungler forgets to take smite and the team is screwed because of it, that game is wasted.

Brief Description: If you are in the jungle role, your non-flash summoner spell is switched to smite when champ select starts

Feature/Suggestion Name: More player stats

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Players have to go to third party sites to see their aggregated stats, and can still only do so for ranked.

Brief Description: The season in review shows what can be done with player stats, in all different queues. It would be great to have something like that on the player profile. Whether it's notable moments or just average various stats by queue/position, both of which are in the season review, it would be nice to be able to have more information on how we've been playing. Right now we can only even see win/loss records in the post game lobby. There are all kinds of directions to go with providing more stats, but it would be nice to be able to click on your profile and see how you're doing overall or on a champion.

Target Audience: Players who just want to see their notable events or how they've been playing

Feature/Suggestion: Champion team Q&A on concepts and creations boards

Opportunity/Problem statement:

As of right now, we don't really hear a lot from champion designers or the champions team in general except if you really reach out on Twitter or Reddit or when their champ/VGU launches, except for Reav3 <3, and I personally haven't seen a whole lot of action on that boards, especially from Rioters except for a few admiration comments on some art, which isnt necessarily a bad thing. And it kinda sucks as champions are a huge part of the game

Brief Description: Champion designers like Squad5 or SolCrushed could occasionally pop in to threads and comment and critique some kits and occasionally host some AMAs so people have a good understanding on how Riot designs champions.It would do wonders for satisfaction to know Riot's opinions and thoughts on your champs

Feature/Suggestion Name: Ward ownership quality-of-life

Opportunity/Problem Statement:

You can see who dropped a ward you're selecting if you mouse over its "buff bar" icon. However, Stealth Wards only give you a brief window to do this, so it is extremely difficult to do! The information exists, it's just hard to retrieve it.

Brief Description:

I'd like a quick-glance indication of who placed a ward, so that (except in All-for-One) you can determine the owner almost immediately as long as you can click it and look. This would be done by the very simple act of placing the owner's champion image on the Ward's "buff bar".

Target Audience:

Anyone with an inquiring mind; mostly for Supportal Kombat.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Improving Orange Essence costs to activate skins

Opportunity/Problem Statement:

The decreases in Orange essence have made it it so buying chests is not really worth it in most cases (because it was a 13% decrease in OE gain).

Brief Description:

Increasing this percentage would make Hextech crafting a bit more enjoyable and rewarding for a player, so that one skin isn't just a pile of dead skin shards all sacrificed in a satanic ritual to get Orange essence. This can also increase hextech chest and key purchases riot gets which means the system is a bit more worth it in the eyes of the player.

Target Audience: Everyone who cares about skins and thinks the hextech systems should be a bit fairer even if the players don’t spend money regularly on league. While this may sound a bit hypocritical making a fairer system won’t affect league negatively. And Riot which will get big money from this.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Short Spectate/Definitely not stalking them

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Sometimes I want to play with friends but they're already halfway through a game. Often I will spectate their game, but want to stop spectating as soon as they're done playing. Because of the time delay I'll have to pick between quitting after each decisive fight on the assumption that the game will soon be over or hoping that they'll message me when they're done and that I'll notice it while spectating.

Brief Description: While spectating a game of someone on your friends list give a popup notification when the game has ended in real time with the option to quit.

Target Audience: Players who spectate their friends while they're waiting for them.

Problem: When a game/match of fullscreen LoL starts, the PC is completely locked until the loading screen itself loads up. Alt-tab is impossible for about 5 seconds.

Description: I don't know why League does this, out of the plethora of games and programs I use, NONE of them prevent alt-tabbing except for League.

Target Audience: Multitaskers with only one monitor.

Gifting the proper skin can be challenging. Telling a friend what gift you want feels greedy.

Add the ability to flag Skins, Wards, Icons, etc in the store for friends to see.

Can be enjoyed by friends gifting friends.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Allow for Profiles to display their top 5 Mastery Scores, rather than 3 // Ability to see other player's full Mastery Score on all Champions in client rather than use of Third Party Sites.

Opportunity/Problem Statement: It seems a shame that seeing people's Mastery Score is gated to Third Party Sites rather than an in-client display after the top 3 champions.

Brief Description: Although profiles are much cooler than what they've ever been, Mastery Score on champions is something that is usually super personal to the player and seems way too much effort to look up sometimes. The ability to show off your scores better on your profile, either by just increasing the amount that it shows or showing the entire list of a player's champion pool via their profile seems a nicer way of finding out what kind of champions a player plays, rather than just having a mastery spammed at you in game.

Much like seeing on someone's top 5 ranked champions on the ranked leaderboard, showing the top 5 champions for each player allows for further customisation of their profile. When you see someone who has hundreds of thousands of points on 3 champions, it's always intriguing to see who else they play!

Target Audience: Pretty much anyone who likes showing their individuality on their profile, be it honour level/top champions and ranked placement, or gaining some champion suggestions based on players who have a high mastery in a champion that you like!

Feature/Suggestion Name In-Combat Range Indicator

Opportunity/Problem Statement Variable range characters like Aurelion Sol (stars), Kayle, Aatrox, Jinx, Kindred, Kog'Maw, Poppy, Tristana, and Twitch don't have clear visual indicators of their changing threat zone, and auto-attack range is the only in-combat range that doesn't have a way to render it easily visible during combat. The tech exists as seen in Evelynn, Rengar, and Rapid Firecannon.

Brief Description Port the graphic of Rapid Firecannon as an attack range indicator to every character, toggle-able on or off as per a player's personal preference (or toggled upon button press). Increase the visuals of Rapid Firecannons current effect slightly to differentiate that trigger. Have it update upon level up or buff application/disappearance to account for range modifying effects.

Target Audience New players especially benefit from visual aids. Experienced players of variable range characters gain new appreciation for those range-increasing abilities, and those abilities gain more visceral feedback and clearer effects. All players can now play at the edges of their ranges more efficiently, possibly making laning more engaging, and all players are now made more consciously aware of their zone of influence. Opt-in prevents it distracting players who don't desire it.

Feature/Suggestion Name: Shield Mechanic Update

Opportunity/Problem Statement: As a player, I find that certain champion/item combinations can become overbearing due to the amount of shield stacking available. On the flip side, when not stacked, certain shields used in isolation can feel like they lack meaningful impact.

Brief Description: To allow greater impact to shields without breaking game balance, it would be great to see shields switch from being stackable to simply applying/refreshing the highest shield value. Slows were another game mechanic that suffered from excessive stacking and the switch to highest-value apply/refresh really opened up what Riot could do with slows.

Without stacking, certain shield values could be buffed to make them feel more impactful on their own. Skill expression would also be greater as applying shields all at once would simply be wasteful, forcing players to co-ordinate and chain their shields (like CC currently works). This can also help increase viability of assassin picks without having to overly buff them or watch them languish during tank/shield metas.

Target Audience: All players; likely highest impact in competitive/LCS.

Feature: Changing Summoner Icons in Champ Select

I have a ton of icons. Before I go into a ranked game I don't know which champion I will play. If I play a champion with a Poro related skin, cool, I get to have Poro Skin, Poro Ward and Poro Icon. If I play Lux mid, I can't change my whole attire to Star Guardian Icon, Star Guardian Skin and Ward skin. I have all these Icons and ward skins but can't express myself the way I want to.

Target Audience: Long time players that have lots of different Icons that fit certain skin themes / champions / occasions.

Feature; Champion Mastery 8!

Opportunity: Using up the last obvious slot of getting 4 S+ games, while also taking advantage of missions. Also filling in the missing green coloration that was confirmed to be part of the color palette for growth. (Blue, Purple, Green, Orange/Red)

Description: Just like Mastery 7 requiring at least an S, mastery 8 wild require perfect games. Tying those directly to missions makes it easy to track, as well as allowing for better testing! Example- Zoe currently runs missions including hitting Paddle Star, using unique Spell Thief casts, and overall just winning a few matches. While specific to each champion, a long hard grind with constant visual growth from level 7 to 8 is the pinnacle of satisfaction.

Target: Anyone wanting to show off that main!

Feature/Suggestion Name: ARAM Skins

Opportunity/Problem Statement: I agree with COMPETETIVE League/SR having no map skins, but why not ARAM? It's quick and focuses on a fun experience wich could get enhanced by map skins. Also in ARAM every game is different, just because of the randomness of champs that are played, so depending on your champ you could get this awesome experience of having a map that suits its champs! I would just love to play on different maps, and I know you guys have the technology to do so.

Brief Description: The game automatically switches to a suiting map depending on lore of the majority of champs. If you dont like it, you can just switch it off, like in normal SR/Winter SR.

Screenshots: See f.e. Butchers Bridge with Bilgewater champs.

Target Audience: Litterally the whole playerbase, even pro players like TSM Zven play an ARAM occasionally!

Feature/Suggestion Name: Hide Unowned Skins during Champ Select.

Opportunity/Problem Statement: I own all champs, but only play a few. I barely have any skins, but when I do play a random champ I would like to know if I have a choice in owned skins. I can't tell if I own any skins because it only shows 4 skins I do not own (And hides the rest).

Brief Description: Champ Select Toggle to hide Unowned Skins during Champ Select. It must remember its setting between games. Also if you own more skins than shown, it needs to show a "+X" to tell you how many more you own (or when showing all skins, how many more skins are off screen at all).

Target Audience: People who will never buy skins on a whim, and do not memorize which skins they own.

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Currently there is no way to test out champions that you already don't own or aren't in the weekly rotation,and for skins there's either skinspotlights or just buying them out right

Brief Description: It would be nice to able to test out skins/champs in the practice tool,similar to how Heroes of the Storm does it.

Opportunity/Problem Statement: I really love lores, and not just the stories, but also the visuals and the whole concepts behind them. It would be really awesome, since we constantly live in the Runeterra's League, to take a side on this and show who we feel we are. We all have favorite champions, and sometimes you grow fond with them. Lores are a great part of League that hasn't had many chances to really take the spotlight, what better way to satisfy your feeling of belonging than this?

Brief Description: You get sorted into one region of Runeterra (not very clear how but it should be 50% depending on what you want, and 50% by - for example - playing champions from that region). Not sure about its real purpose, I can think to a lot of ways this could work: when you play, you play for your region and every year a region of Runeterra wins a fictional cup with small prizes and rewards to players belonging there, your profile could have a banner showing the symbol of your region, a new gamemode featuring only champions from your region, etc.

Target Audience: Any player!

#Update Item Icons/Colors/Names

Even for experienced players, it takes more than a quick glance at the scoreboard to identify if someone is building AD or MR or Health etc. For new players, it can take incredibly long to learn what level 1 items to properly build with. (ie: dagger currently represents Attack Speed, not AD, like other swords)

Each basic stat can have a weapon style and a background color associated. Upgraded items can find a healthy mix from their components.

AD: Sword (red) AS: Bow (orange) AP: Wand (yellow) HP: Crystal (green) Armor: Vest (silver) MR: Cloak (purple) Mana: Crystal (blue)

Can be enjoyed by all item shop users.

Currently, we only have one vision ping for enemy vision while at least 4 more could be usefull for the player

Changing the vision ward ping to a wheel of 5 ping (like othere wheel in the game) , one being the ping we have now, and the 4 other being "gonna ward here", "do they have vision here", "we need vision here" and "enemy has no vision here"

Feature/Suggestion Name: Universe Tab in the League Client

Opportunity/Problem Statement: Players often don’t know where to look when it comes to the lore of League of Legends — some don’t even know it exists. In order to pique interest in LoL’s universe and get players excited about its stories, I propose creating a “Universe” tab in the game client where players can read through and explore Runeterra at their leisure.

Brief Description: There are several tabs at the top of the League client that allow you to navigate to different areas of the client. “Universe” would be one of these tabs, integrated fully into the client as an interactive, non-browser version of universe.leagueoflegends.com. It would contain not only the written stories and bios pertaining to each champion and region, but also concept artwork and other media behind every character and faction in League.

Target Audience: Fans of League who are interested in its lore and story content.
