You've read the excellently written dev blog: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/features/preseason-2016-crests-horizon

YOU'VE READ THE COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT PRESEASONS POST: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/developer-corner/GjsdA9Zq-commonly-asked-preseason-questions-aka-why-manual-solutions-are-the-worst

You're not here to ask opinions posed as questions, because that will make me sad.

We are splitting this open forum into two sections - one for Marksmen & Marksmen Itemization, the other for everything else.

These topics are getting a little overwhelming! I'll spend a bit of today getting a big rundown of all the most frequently asked questions.

I have some questions regarding the Trinity force changes; Why is it that you've nerfed the AS, MS and AD while buffing Mana (slightly) and the crit chance? CDR is actually a neat idea seeing that a lot of Tri force users could use another source of cool down reduction.

Most of the champions that utilize T force are bruisers that make great use of MS, most being melee, AS (especially Jax and Irelia) and AD. It was a great item for fighters and still was viable on certain ADC's. So why is it being shifted into a RNG version that's seemingly tailored for AD carries? The champions which usually built it didn't benefit greatly from crib anyways and would prefer the AS/MS.

Especially Mordekaiser who needs the MS and AS to beef up his horrendous base stats and makes great use of the spell blade effect.

Now it's getting way less desirable on him, having buffed the mana and crit, both of which he can't use and nerfing the stats he loved on it.

It just seems like you're trying to shoehorn existing items into the carry arsenal. You've released plenty new items that benefit them immensely. can't we have some items that work wonders on fighters and have been their core items for quite some time?

I've noticed with the leaks of items on Match History, that almost all AP based items took severe hits (Rabadon costing 3800 gold now, Hourglass having less armor and AP, even the CDR items are more costly now, etc). Yes i've noticed Staff of Flowing Water...which seems like an interesting addition. but these changes overall seem extremely aggressive for AP based mages and assassins who will now take ages to reach their powerspikes. It almost completely reverts the AP itemization rework/rebalance done several patches back that was lauded as one of the better item reworks/rebalances done by Riot. With these nerfs, AP mages and assassins will fall off heavily because they will never be a backline threat to the new and empowered ADC class in usefull time, meaning that AD based champions will overtake everything since their early game and snowball power is already higher than an AP based champion.

Also if you wanted to add new AP items, why not add the Lost Chapter line of items which can upgrade into 3 different items (Grimoire/Ruin/Pox) and Staff of Flowing Water and be rid of Athenes and Morello, since the latter 2 are the least interesting of the AP/CDR items. Also why not give Void Staff the same treatment as Last Whisper? That way you'd have the same amount of adaptable builds as this ADC rework will have.

One thing I am very concerned about is the removal of mana pots. You SAY that you are going to buff mana/regen where necessary, but how big of a buff is it going to make up for this loss (mainly for a support)? As a support main (nami) I take spellthief's, 1 biscuit and 3 mana pots and use all 3 before recalling and getting another 4 because you don't really have good enough cheap mana regen items to make up for taking out mana pots.

So I guess my question here is, have you considered what the implications of taking out mana pots will do to mana hungry supports (nami/sona/raka/zyra/lulu) who rely so heavily on using their spells to really make a difference in the game as supports? I feel like you are going to need to buff the shit out of them to make support mains not hate you with a fiery passion.

It was mentioned that health potions were going to become more expensive, will that not simply change the meta over to supports who are strong healers and basically turn the jungle into a place where sustain champs thrive, this also could be a strong influence on top laner choices

Where is Riot's stance on having a jungler build sighstone as a core item? I've seen a lot of players speculate that having 2 sightstones is going to be subjectively better than only having 1 on your support? How much of a role did that trend of double sightstone have a factor in the vision tweaks?

Will dangerous game or something similar still be a mastery for us to take still? Just wondering since you guys mentioned masteries with "powerful moments" and it was the example, and I rather like dangerous game.

So exactly how powerful is this Rift Herald? I've heard it mentioned as being an incentive to not teleport away from top lane so eagerly. But what exactly does it take to fight it? Can the average top laner solo it if he's left unchecked? Or does the jungler need to be called in as well? Is it worth trading for Dragon, generally speaking? And I'm curious about what it grants you, too - I believe it was mentioned as something to help push down your lane, but I'm just generally very interested to know what kind of advantages you pick up by grabbing that thing even if you're leaving your bottom half of the map out to dry.

And further on the whole top lane/teleport thing, do you expect that we'll still see top laners starting at jungle camps and teleporting to lane, or double jungling, things of that nature, as a dominant strategy? Because frankly I've had about enough of that stuff. Of course, with Teleport being nerfed and Ignite/Exhaust being lauded as more viable for top laners to choose if they should want them, maybe that sort of thing falls out of favor entirely. But in the case that I do still take Teleport, is it still an option? Or has there been some kind of spawn timer adjustment or something else of that sort that takes it off the table?

I'm not entirely sure so I'm taking an estimated guess here

Are these new upgraded sight stones basically

One of.. item 3069 item 3092 item 3401 Merged with item 2049 ??

And is it true you are giving starting trinkets two charges due to no stealth wards?

Because as a bronze ADC/Support I would like that.. I'd really like that.
