I think hotfixes need to go out before we can do accurate tracking. Big issues are currently Warlord's Bloodlust, Games snowballing like crazy (need hotfixes on turrets, possibly reduced gold income) Mages feeling very weak compared to AD counterparts (possibly need to revert nerfs to AP gold costs, or give mages more viable mastery choices) Graves, Yasuo and Tryn need to be slammed with a nerf hammer. A lot AD items need nerfs - Everything needs to stop giving crit.

Will you make hunter's talisman a not super trashy starting item? The sustain and damage is a joke compared to machete on nearly everyone.

mh, guess i´ll just use this to leave you with some Q&A of my own:

Qs:

  • What´s your personal take on the Moba-genre at Riot - should the games be more strategical, or more actionpacked? So far I personally enjoyed league as a more strategical-approach to the Moba-genre, but this preseason really got me confused about your intentions/long-term-visions.

  • Have you ever considered to not focus on SR for a Preseason, but just leave it as it is (with the ocassional juggernaut-patch to keep things fresh every now and then ofc) and instead use all those ressources to finally really bring Dominion and TTT to life? Those maps are really great to play from my perspective and have lots of unexplored potential.

As:

  • right now there are two main problem from my perspective with this preseason:

  • Diversity/Items: on the one hand you made an effort to make each marksmen stand out gameplay-wise, but on the other hand you then funneled all of the marksmen to operate on crit. There´s no alternative anymore...before the revamp you could actually play some ADCs as AD-Casters, or bruisers, or hybrids, or as a "classic"-carry - depending on your item-choices. Now those options really don´t exist anymore. Crit is not only slightly better, it´s mostly the only real option. So you actually took a lot of diversity out of the game by making every item "viable" for everyone...

  • "games are brutish and short": well, i guess your data should support this...but average game-time really took a huge hit, leading to many games finished with 1-3items in the inventory, lategame became sort of a non-viable-utopian-dream. And there are 3 main factors causing this:

    • less vision than before, amplifying snowballing due to making any environment not protected by towers unsave when behind
    • less effective hp on turrets, leading to very early inhibitors/more dark areas on the map
    • the "ad-meta", as ad snowballs just more than ap/tank for two reasons:
      • most of the dmg is linked to auto-attacks, so you can´t dodge it and outplays become a non-factor, it´s all about stats
      • they don´t only kill Champions faster when they get more items, but also take objectives faster.

Not sure where else to discuss this where it'll get noticed, but the rng nature of crit doesn't mesh well with Kalista's gameplay. The old critless build gave her a steady stream of dps that made it easy to determine when to rend. However since crit has become the optimal dps build timing rend has become really awkward. Your attacks do more damage now so your target's health drops with less attacks, which means less spears before you rend, and random crits makes it difficult to anticipate how much damage your next attack will do. The end result is I find myself sometimes overkilling targets with auto attacks or only being able to rend for a small amount of damage.

Since rend is the main focus of Kalista's gameplay I think she'd feel better to play if she interacted with crit differently, kind of like Ashe. Rather then enhance the damage of her autos crits could instead lodge extra spears in the target, or increase the damage per spear based on crit chance.

You guys are ruining this game, the biggest change was the masteries, you pretty much dumbed them down, this is thee biggest problem and the reason people will start migrating elsewhere. It's been 3 days that I haven't logged in to play, this from a guy that mained rammus over 4k games, 1k+ just this season.

What you did to the jungler items is crap, only items for jungle assasins or damage dealers and leesin's warding item, the jungle tanks are now relegated to support or top.

I WISH TENCENT WOULD STEP IN AND CLEAN HOUSE BEFORE GREG STREET AND PARASITES SHUT THIS GAME DOWN TOO.

What is your current opinion on Turrets? It feels like games end before they even get going. Trying to defend the turrets when they melt like butter to anything that hits them just seems impossible to defend.

I feel like the weak turret issue is compounded by the low damage they deal and AP carries ability to nuke towers like ADCs. I just want to understand this direction better, because it is making late game scaling champions irrelevant. It is extremely difficult to stay in a game longer than 25mins and not be overwhelmed at your nexus.

In addition to this, the game feels very swingy at the moment. There are no close games. It's just an absolute stomp in either direction, as far as the games I have played. I've either gotten a small lead and removed my opponent's entire agency to respond to me, or gotten killed once or twice and been irrelevant the rest of the game.

I do feel like Turrets need to go to the gym and get put on muscle juice. With the more difficult access to defense, there is no reason why AP carries with no defense should be soaking 3 tower shots and living.

A question I would like to be answered is why is Riot exhibiting so much confirmation bias? I think that is a pretty significant factor of a lot of the recent frustrations.

Anything in plan to keep snowballing in check?

Game lenght? 25minutes average aint good for many champs.

Khazix? WHen will you rework him plz? :( (and fix bug with his leap that makes him tryin to return to jump position without order, or Q delay that makes it easy to dodge even after he used it)

ADC vs tank itemization? Bcs tank items feel really bad if you dont play some def hyperscaling champ (malph/mundo/rammus). Now its better to get more offense and try to kill them before they kill you.

Please guys FIX this bug with Nocturne tail!!!! Sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesn't... it's not cool.. Please fix it!!!

Also, if it's possible and try to reconsider to buff him a bit his Q ratio from 75% to 100% AD and his passive... But mostly fix that tail bug...!!! Thanks! DARKNESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!Nocturne

Is the 15 second delay on smite charges being changed or left as is? Why does rift scuttler give only 52 gold when the patch notes say it was changed from 65 to 70? I'm fairly sure in patch 5.21 it gave 50ish gold plus 15 with machete, and + 30 with machete item upgrades. Is the loss of 30 gold on every jungle camp due to the new jungle items staying as is? I feel extremely cash starved in the jungle atm.

I have a question about ? [ Feast Killing a unit restores 20 Health ( 20 second Cooldown). ]

Heimerdinger's Guns / Singed's Gas / and other things like pets that kill but are not direct fire type of damage. From my understanding as least for Heimerdinger's guns the guns will never proc an effect of any type.
