Can mods do something against misinformative threads that got snowball upvoted?

There is no report option to fill that niche but I feel its badly needed considering how votes are often confused with a guarantee for truth.

Yesterday I was curious how exactly dodging in placements work and I googled it and found this

I read it, thought about it and immediatly noticed that something isn't right with the argumentation.

I think it's not ok to write PSA: [something] and then people believe it because it got like 30 or more upvotes.

After 11 months I am the first to even question this argumentation and the OP refuses to see reason.

I wouldn't mind this if he would present his ideas as personal opinion as opposed to a definitive announcement.

But as it is, people will see this and just believe it... because upvotes. Please just enforce proper discussions or remove this kind of content.

The report reason you use isn't necessarily relevant. When we receive reports we do the following: look at the report reason, determine if the reason is valid, if it isn't then determine if there's a violation that they are reporting, and if there's no violation or anything that is borderline, we leave it alone. You're welcome to come to the Boards Moderation Discord and talk to moderators. I would recommend that you request a moderator with experience in gameplay as we're looking to change gameplay in the future. We need feedback and we would appreciate yours.
