idk where to go so sorry for posting on a 2nd acc but for real.

(btw jennifer420 here) so in another post we were talking about hidden champion interactions like zyra getting bigger if hit by leona, zilean vs voli etc and i said

thresh gets 2 souls from nunu, 1 for nunu 1 for willumb but he only gets 1 soul from sejuali because seju is a redhead/jew. i even said DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT ITS BEEN YEARS SINCE IVE READ ABOUT THAT.

turns out its because she is ginger not jewish. im not gonna use my meh-ish english skills as excuse but the mods going "thats hatespeech - permabanned from the boards" is laughable.

my comment listing several other hidden champion eastereggs clearly shows i just tried to list another one and used the wrong word i wasnt trying to be hateful or anything. also if you wanna go really deep, the easteregg basically says gingers have no souls (clearly a reference to south park) so isnt the easteregg itself alrdy hateful?

mods cmon, thats laughable. its not like i just went "seju has no soul cause she is xy" i CLEARLY listed other interactions in a discussion about interactions.

it would be nice if you could NOT permaban me for this. i mean cmon.

turns out its because she is ginger not jewish.

The interaction with Sejuani (and Quinn, and Kled) giving one soul is because Bristle (and Valor, and Skaarl) is an animal, and is not implied to have a soul in the same way as a human.

Regardless, it is in no way acceptable to imply, quote, post, or otherwise communicate on the boards a prejudiced, offensive, and insulting statement like the one you posted. We are not in the business of claiming people don't have souls due to their religious beliefs.

The punishment will not be lifted at this time.

If the post in question did indeed say something like "but it's been years since I heard this idea so I'm not sure if it accurately explains this design element," I think that makes a substantive difference in its level of malice. I do 100% agree that even the suggestion that certain groups of people don't have souls to possibly explain some in-game phenomenon should be removed from Boards, but that's a far cry from stating such as an individual belief. It's possible that the former stems not from horrible, horrible racism, but rather from a dearth of social self-awareness arising in part from cultural differences between NA and Europe. Outside of certain European countries where a statement of racial inferiority is actually illegal outside of an explicitly educational setting, it might be recognized as distinct from a personal expression of hatred. Just my rambling hypothesis based on insufficient data.

TL;DR: "This is what I believe" would likely merit a permaban, but "I heard this wacky idea once" might only need a deletion and a stern warning.
