You can always leave a short comment on it, as long as it's pertaining to the topic, and then when you go to your profile you can see what you've posted on, and that will give you a more thorough look. I do agree though that being able to ping a post as "read later" would be helpful, it could even have a little pin icon in your top bar and a button to "clear pin" :D

I want to give you my thoughts why I think the option is more valuable than one might think:

You don't always want to pin a thread to read it later - sometimes you want to read it several times, quote stuff from it, take arguments or get inspiration from it. This does not only apply to threads from random boards users but also from Riot comments that you think are important especially when you're currently working on an ideation about a topic the Rioter just said somehting about.

Manually bookmarking them in your browser can be a solution as long as one does not have many of them outside of NA boards to manage. Posting on the thread to bookmark it can be a solution as long as you only comment ocassionally.

I know that implementing new tools to boards is not just easy done, but a real bookmark feature for threads and comments could end up upgrading the boards experience a lot.

I agree with you- a feature to follow-up on interesting threads without cluttering your bookmarks could definitely be valuable and beneficial. I'll start thinking about ways this may be implemented, bring it up with the team, and hopefully have something of substance to show in the future.

Just as a forewarning and to set expectations, there are a few other ideas on the list, so I can't say for certain when I'll get back to you; however, I do think it is a great idea. Thanks for the feedback!

I meant "pin" as in a little personal bookmarks menu, like sticky notes, not pin as in board's comments! but yea I completely understand what you meant, it would be nice to have a "select/deselect" option too that relates to removing these "pins"/bookmarks, so if something drastically changes and say, Elise gets reworked, you can just go through and boop all your "how to elise" or accompanying discussion threads and remove them all at once.
