Linking player's op.gg records grounds for post removal?

In a previous thread of mine (feel free to read it it's quite comical) a moderator removed a post that I had made that linked a player's op.gg when they claimed a falsehood. I proceeded to disprove this and call the player a liar.

Why did the moderator remove my post when the content was pretty much a hyperlink?

I have a feeling it relates to the board’s guidelines about name shaming. But I don’t really know

It may seem stupid but it stops a ton of would be "look at how bad this player is" posts.

I understand your frustration on the topic, but it's really important to us to keep harassment to a minimum on the Boards. If you feel that your post wasn't doing that, you are always welcome to come to discuss it here or on our Discord server. Just reply to me and send me a link and we can review the action.
