Why would moderators knowingly allow negative behavior?
As moderators, we are constantly tasked with maintaining the balance on the boards. Too strict and regular people feel like they can't use them. Too loose and the lowest common denominator pushes everything else out. Often times we err on the side of free speech.
As I explained in the other post, I feel like we've probably done that too much with you. Far too many of your posts seek to insult, belittle or bully (see examples previous). I'm going to close with a quote from Djinn, which you should definitely heed:
Ultimately, this is the situation you are in: your behavior has not been acceptable. You can take it upon yourself to stop the pattern of behavior that got you to this point, or you can continue this path, which does indeed end in a permanent ban if your behavior does not significantly improve. That's really the long and short of it.
