Grace Period Between Similar Topics?

Alright so I stumble upon the threads and lurk around for a bit, the usual newbie stuff. I start thinking I'm ready to create a discussion about stupid nicknames myself and others have typically used for champions, but then my curiosity compels me to do a search to see if such a thread already exists, and sure enough I see several discussions around Nicknames...but they tend to be anywhere between 8 months to 2 years old. So I may be asking it wrong, but my question is am I still able to create a similar thread without it being too soon, or would it be confused with necromancy?
