So since next season your border will represent your current rank, maybe have it show here too?
Like, a border around your summoner icon showing your current highest rank of any queue. Or your current "ranked armor" next to your name?

I mean, you'll probably get upvotes on this, as many in these boards love getting on their high horse... though the truth of these boards is that it represents the league community identically to what you see during the normal gaming experience.
I'd vote for the opposite: you should not be able to see people's rank at all, so that when people contribute, their input is taken at face value, rather than some derivative of how keen they are to climb in ranked... when the fact of the matter is that people at any rank can have a valid perspective.
