Deleted thread

So... I made a thread talking about how Senna's kit is overloaded, which it is. The thread was deleted after I disagreed with a moderator in a different thread. In said post disagreeing, I pointed out things that are incorrect in the post and provided actual facts from the champion. My thread was deleted despite the fact that there are threads that literally just "rant" about how the design team overloaded her kit and that one is upvoted on the hot page.

I am curious as to how this is less of a rant than mine and as to how you can delete a thread for disagreeing with someone in a different thread because that seems far more likely to be the reason based on the evidence provided.

Hey there,

I'm the one that removed your thread as I saw it more as a Rant rather than a productive, content forward Gameplay discussion. I was completely unaware that you were having a disagreement with another mod in another thread and I can assure you 100% guarantee that had nothing to do with the removal. The Moderation Team actively strives to separate our posting mindset from our moderator mindset (two different hats so to speak) when making judgments on thread removals. I do not believe any mod currently on our team would remove something just because they had a disagreement with another poster. If you believe this is not the case, you can submit that information directly to our oversight Heralds on the Discord and they will review it.

I'd also like to note that your thread was removed as part of the limitations of the Boards that do not permit us to move threads. It's basically a "this is the wrong section, no worries about your account status" curation removal and if the Boards had the ability to move threads, I would have moved it. There are no marks against your account because of this removal.

If you see threads you believe are in the wrong sub-board or are rants as well, please report them and we'll handle as appropriate.

If you have questions about why it was considered more apt for the Rant sub-board, don't hesitate to ask.

I had a similar issue about a week or so ago where my post discussing turrets was removed for being “low effort.” I called out the mods for it and shared a link to a low effort post that wasn’t deleted. They responded by deleting the other low effort post, but then it was reinstated after (A Mod) discussed with a Herald that it should stay. (The Mod) went on to justify the deletion of my post and condemning me while justifying the other post, even though it had 12 words and no solution discussion... it was clearly playing favorites and targeting me.

I took it to the Boards discord and showed the examples of (The Mod) playing favorites and being inconsistent. Boards guy agreed with me and offered to reinstate my post, I told him nah, but he should hold mods like (The Mod) to a higher standard and not let them play favorites.

This low effort stuff is a mess. Nothing but trouble since they started it. Don’t let these guys try and justify the deletion of our posts! Find you an example from the gameplay section or something like that and use it to your benefit. When you take it to the boards discord, they will acknowledge it there.
