I have the topics sorted by "recent" so why is there a thread about Yasuo from 3 years ago with a lot of upvotes and comments but no visible recent replies on the frontpage?

Without seeing the specific thread I can't comment specifically, but there's a chance that someone commented on it and then either deleted their comment or had it deleted by a moderator for a violation. I'll admit I'm not 100% on how precisely the code that determines a recent post works, but I'd hazard a guess that it doesn't retroactively reposition the thread if a deletion happens.
