I recently commented on one of those upvote bomb 'ggez' post about me opinions on the matter. @laughing fish deleted my comment for 'harassement'. I can't even review the comment with small clip that is actually shown to me in the alert notifications. I'm guessing you could probably have access to the deleted comment in full so if you could copy and paste the entire thing here so I can actually review if I was 'harassing' anyone that'd be great.

If I was actually harassing anyone then I'll let it go. But if I find that I wasn't then that could probably hint the boards are going down a shit path and I aint letting shit that happen with me.

Dude.... as the other guy pointed out you probably have issues.

One of my friends committed suicide two years ago partially due to online harassment.

How is this necessary? This point is just trying to appeal to emotion right there.

Why is it that people are always actively trying to make ggez out to be as bad as murder. You can't tell me otherwise at this point because you actually braught up suicide.

GGEZ IS NOT FUCKING BULLYING SO STOP TRYING TO SPOUT BS!! No seriously. If you feel "bullyied" by some random person who you've never met, who doesn't know anything about you, making a comment at the end of a game, directed at 5 people, that shows up for less than 2 seconds then YOU have the problem. No one else. Get your fuckin shit together if you're going to stab people for saying vague shit that isn't even made directly at you.

I despise people who try to bend the truth to make fake as shit 'justice' as much as people who actually go against justice for personal reasons.

Review what you just wrote because it is the bottom of the barrel among all the cancerous comments that try to defend ggez. Not saying that comments defending it are wrong because some of them make actually good points but what you just said is probably the worst I've ever seen.

The mains issues with this comment:

  • Repeatedly telling someone they have issues is not helpful, accomplishes nothing, and just makes the discussion unpleasant.
  • Saying someone's argument is the "worst I've ever seen", referring to their argument as "BS', and stating their comments is "the bottom of the barrel among all the cancerous comments" are completely unnecessary insults that escalate the argument into a personal one.

For these reasons, I deemed the comment to be harassment, as it was filled with unnecessary insults. You are welcome to argue against someone's opinions, but it is important for the health of the boards that arguments remain civil.

Yes, Laughing Fish has gone on a rogue spree, abusing his power as a moderator. It's a shame, but that is the risk of having unpaid moderators selected from the public community who are invested in their own personal agendas within the community rather than their professional duties. Laughing Fish removed my posts as well with the reason quoted "Don't be a jerk."

Well, excuse me if defending free speech and saying that banter such as "GG EZ" should not be punishable is being a "jerk". Anyone can disagree with my stance, as that is their right to do so, but to suppress the discussion... Both sides of the argument are defensible. There is no justification to simply hide half of debate just because Laughing Fish has decided to enforce his bias.
