Are they actual discussions, rage posts which don't contribute any meaningful discussion, or mindless bickering in the comment section?

And not just those topics.

Just try and start a thread asking them if they think it's a good idea to shift they're focus to diversity and inclusion!

I haven't seen any pattern of this myself. Can you tell me a specific board / date-range where you've noticed this happening? Threads should only be removed when they're spam, break the rules, or are posted in the wrong section, and I'd love to have a bit more data to investigate this.
