Moderators need to modify there enforcement of rules:

The recent post is a great example : Ward Lives Matter was at first removed, and later forced to change the title to save the wards. The reason being, its "political".

Majority of the people were having a good discussion on wards. Only 2 people were having a back and fourth political rant, yes the thread got shut down because of 2 randoms fighting (The moderator said the comments on the thread got out of hand, when it was only TWO people, fighting with eachother as everyone else was having a debate about wards). The moderators decided it was a good idea to remove the whole thread, due to these two people. The moderators claimed that the title was "bait" , which is kinda a joke. Should the varus music video be taken down, because its a "bait" to discuss gay rights, should ANY mention of taric and ezreal as lovers meme be removed because its a "bait" to talk about gay rights? I guarantee you that in 90% of the threads made on the boards , someone could find a way to make the discussion political, and we shouldn't punish the OP for posting a thread, we should punish the people forcing a political discussion. The post should have never been removed, only the comments, even rioters seem to agree, thinking it was a unperfect bot, when really it was just a foolish moderator:

  • Rather than punishing the OP , punish the people that were pushing for a political discussion.

Now moderators said they were looking for feedback (As they always say..), so I ask the community, do you think that people should be able to name there titles "ward lives matter" or similar, or do you think its political bait and shouldn't be allowed. Poll below.

Majority of the people were having a good discussion on wards. Only 2 people were having a back and fourth political rant...

This is precisely why we reinstated the thread. It is current policy for us to remove threads when they have titles or content (in whole or part) that is against the rules, and the reason I opened up discussion on moderator edits was precisely to see if people would rather see us remove this sort of thing (and encourage the OP to repost it without the offending content) or edit it out ourselves to preserve existing discussion.

That said while I don't personally consider it bait and I appreciate it may not have been the OP's intent (and he may have simply been meme-ing), it does ultimately specifically mock a socio-political movement in a very direct way -- something very different from meme-ing on, say, Ezreal/Taric, as that's a joke on those two characters rather than a mocking statement about all gay individuals. We try to leave most statements where political intent could be read by someone really trying (or should -- we do make mistakes on occasion), but the connection between Ward Lives Matter and the [Color] Lives Matter movements is something that was definitely intentional, and not something merely caused by someone reading too deeply into it.

Ey man, mods can't babysit a thread to wait until things reach the point of "Out of hand". It's easier to just say "This is going to lead to this, 100% because it is meant to".

Just don't try to start shit and (shit will still start) but at least you didnt do it....

I'm here to play a game, talk about a game, do whatever... involving a game.

No politics, religion, race, sexuality unless it's a friendly joke... usually people aren't friendly here either, so when I hear "You're gay!" I assume it is from a migrating Black Ops playing and isn't meant to amuse me.
