Why don't we make the GD formatting optional?
Seriously. GD is like a strange, alien world that I want to spend as little time in as possible. A lot of the reason it feels like that is because the formatting is so weird.

The reason why we have GD's format as is to replicate that old forum feeling. Also, making it have both options is odd since Discussion View and Chronological View don't work that well together.
Its because GD is formatted like forums.
Like, For you, its alien, But to us in GD "Discussion" View is about as alien.
Not to mention, Discussion view can blur a lot of lines in GD as, well..
[Think of it like this, [And someone replies, [Then someone replies to that]] [but then someone else replies]]
To us, That is strange and confusing.
