alright so first time i posted....Removed.........for being insulting......2nd time removed not for calling out shit mods....but for not posting it in the right spot (not like your lazy ass has a move topic feature)....YOU DONT HAVE A SECTION CALLED ASK THE MOD WHY THE FUCK THEY DID SOMETHING! so here is attempt 2....i got this shit copy and pasted till your going to ANSWER THE QUESTION or flat fucking ban me as im not going away!, if it sounds like im mad its simply for the fact that i am, as you keep dodging the question like a otp teemo who sees that shit banned and keep finding other reasons to remove it instead of answering the f question. and you wonder why people think your shit!

How are you going to remove a statement that is backed with logical reasoning and say its shit talking.....He said he was having a problem and he said why and i pointed out straight up with reason...I am sorry i did not phase it so someone one might not get but hurt bu the truth does not give a shit if you like it or not! Because I'm at work and don't have access to the back end, which I'd have to review to see all the details for both removals. It seemed easy enough to point out that Discuss the Boards is, in fact, where one goes to question a moderation action.

Your a fucking idiot and need to think differently....and i did not take that as an insult...but someone else scrolling through the forums see it and reports it.... Even tho they a whole coversation was had between 2 others and they understood the difference between a debate and an argument... that the stuff gets removed?

Should their not be a set guideline... like hey they been talking back and forth like 5 or 6 post like this....ok they both understand one another.

Why was this post removed my friend.... Thats all i want to know! If it the way i said it....i wont even bother coming back to the forums as the fact THAT WAS me being civil and sensitive. and if that was why it was removed....a person with my personality does not belong here as it will only move to the fact i will get banned from league.

I am and will always be a simple man.... You can word it how ever you want....but in the end if you wanna say FUck you just say fuck you....dont lawyer it up and make it sound fancy! (thats just the type of person i am.....I know why people say marines are heartless bastards....simply for the fact we dont put up with bullshit and we call it how we see it.)

I hate that i had to call the mods out to get a responce....but hey atleast i will get an answer from you, and then i will just simply accept what you say in your responce. even if i dont like it. But thank you for atleast backing up your call with a thought process responce that is not a copy and paste from the rule book.... One was today, for posting a mod question thread on Gameplay, and one was almost exactly a year ago for failing to meet the Gameplay+ guidelines. If there is any other thread of yours that has vanished (like the one you say was deleted from this board) you may have accidentally deleted it yourself or there may be a board glitch, as we cannot delete stuff without a record of it appearing on the back end (and a message sending), and I can't find record of either.

Additionally, we do lack the ability to move threads. You may believe that or not as you see fit, but it would cause SO much less trouble for both us AND the community if we had that functionality. We'd use it constantly, eagerly, and happily.

On the specific removal, I can't speak with 100% certainty as I didn't perform it myself, but I see one main issue:

I'm not sure exactly how you intended that to come across, but it appeared at first and second glance to suggest that the person you were talking to was a "simple person" unable to reach a complicated conclusion. That's definitely insulting.

If you read the post that went along with it serveral times i said I am the simplton who must put things in a way he understand and that im not trying to be argumentitve, that i just truley wanted to understand...so that remark was a remark that was made several times about myself. Their was no accidental deltion as when i logged in to the forums i got the read line of mods removed your stuff at the top of the screen and i clicked it...I can not get back to it, but it was removed. and i understood the gameplay one....but i then moved it to this forum and it was again removed. I dont know how to explain it, but thats not the real point to this topic?

So when you get a ticket, do you just read the 1 reported post....or do you go back and get context from the conversation? to understand maybe why that post was put.

Depends largely on how large the moderation queue is and how much time we have available. That said, in this case it may be beneficial to wait for the moderator who actually did the removal, as I may be missing some aspect of that moderator's decision.

That way that Incase i do get a mod who just looks at the one report....i know that all the context is their for them to make a valid call..

From my perspective, it seems more like passive-aggressive insults through self-deprecation. Between that line, this one following it;

It feels more like he's intentionally downplaying his skill/intelligence/etc. to insult the other player - implying that even a Silver player with a lesser scope can see an obvious answer that apparently, the Diamond player can't.

I can't fathom any other reason why they would tack on those ostensibly self-deprecating comments at the end except to try a subtle insult. Especially when, if they wanted to point out that their comment was framed from the basis of Rank difference, they could've just prefaced their response with "now, bear in mind, I'm Silver, so this may not actually apply up in Diamond..."

Though, that's just my two cents.

That is soly based on the fact you have the 1 post to go off of.

What you take as passive-aggressive insults, Was in refference to the other post that went along with it...that made if very clear i wish i had the skills that he did.

as for the simple person remark.... as i have said many of times now, I made several remark in the forum about how "I am a simplton, and must phrase things in the way they make sence to me" and having said that the OP kept responding.

When a simplton breaks something down, they dont allow for excuess to cloud the judgment of why something is the way it is..... If your whole point is that 1 champion is BROKE OP and counters your champion pool.... Then you should cearly see that you should either ban said champ...or learn a champ that makes it so if that 1 champ is played, your whole pool of champions is not countered.

only difference between "im silver and your dimond" compaired to how you said ""now, bear in mind, I'm Silver, so this may not actually apply up in Diamond..." is an ego boost that makes the orginal post go...Right he knows he is below me! thats simply it.

As from my prospective and this is just my two cents....but if you use logic to explain something, and be like look i know im silver and your Diamond.....but why play whats not working..... You can make a logical statement without being insulting. I would imagine that this part played a significant role in the removal.

As for moving topics, let me say this very clearly:

The boards software does NOT provide the ability to move threads for the moderation staff.

They have said this time, and time again. Right now, it is not possible.

They do have the ability to move threads... I get notifications EVERY DAY...that my threads have been moved for not being placed right...So that logic is bullshit....

So the answer to my quesiton then is... Yes is all opinion based rules...as what you find insulting...is preferential to yourself..Does not matter if the info given is valid.... If saying im a simple person and have simple thoughts is offensive... Then fuck this forums you all take everything like personal attack...and wonder why people think others in league are sensitive!

The entire moderation team would much prefer the ability to move threads. It would be easier for us and less frustrating for the community. So no, this isn't an accurate statement. I've asked about it multiple times.

If you are self deprecating, that's your business, but ad hominem is just not needed, nor wanted, on the boards. Your statement could not be clearly interpreted as such, hence why I understood it as an attack. It is not we, every other person where, who needs to cater to you to understand your form of humor, or self deprecation. It is you, who need to understand that without sufficient context, you leave your words open to interpretation. If that phrase was indeed a part of the reason why it was removed, then you need to be more clear.

A similar phrase that would not have been misinterpreted:

But from simple people, like me, come simple thoughts.

Two words, is all it took, to go from a potential attack, to a clear statement that you are commenting in a self deprecating manner.

As soon as you post on a public board every player has the right to comment if they feel like it. Wanna keep things just between you and the moderator? Then contact them over Discord. But people are allowed to share their point of view. Plus, instead of complaining about their involvement, you could take their input to rethink your behaviour and maybe profit from it => e.g. finding answers to: what could other users see as a problem, why can't I see it, what's the difference, what could I change?

Well, this is where you chose to come to an OPEN forum to ask a question. If you wanted a mod's opinion, and no one else's, you can get it on the boards moderation discord without opening it up for everyone.

So, I went back to your removal, as I'm always willing to consider that I might have made a mistake. Your post was removed primarily for:

You have to understand that we don't go looking for stuff to remove; your post came to my attention because it was reported. That means I have to look at the content from the likely perspective of the person making the report.

Your post basically said, "you're hardstuck because you're an OTP that doesn't know how to adapt" with a sly aside of "but I'm a simple person, so what do I know?" You're going to try and pass that off as being humble, but that clearly wasn't the case.

How do I know that? In their response, they said, "So the issue is I have 89 level 7 mastery champions. The newest champion or rework I don't have level 7 on is Aurelion Sol and obviously I have a ton of the old roster. I'm the most flexible player I personally know, and in ranked last season I actually went from Plat to Diamond by picking the Fill role instead of jungle.". You could also have looked at their profile and seen that they're anything but an OTP.

Rather than accepting that, you doubled down in your reply:

You mean the players who dont want to adapt to a new meta and playstyle....become hardstuck. Seems you go into a game with preconceived notions on how things should play out, rather then play out the game that is at hand. What you call normal is a playstyle, and the new meta goes against said playstyle.

Thank you, thats all i wantted to know.

it is opinion based. I will not argue, But it clear that a person like myself, Who in light not trying to sound like an ass still came off as an ass. So i will take my leave of the forums and let yall do you. As the simple fact of the matter, anything i will say on the forums, will be taken as such and seen as an attack as thats just the type of person i am I am very blunt and never come across as mixing words...but since my tone of voice and they visual ques of what im saying can not be conveyed in ways that come across. I would love to at least thank you for Writing out your logic so that I being the simple man i am..could understand. Their is no mincing of what you have said, so with out further ado, I will take my leave.
