Apologies, Ulanopo

I will hereby express my sincerest apologies to Ulanopo, because my information on the upcoming topic (upon researching it myself) was inaccurate, and in no way am I of the opinion that I would prefer him to be persecuted. At the time of my comment in the original Player Behavior thread, my stance was that if he deserved it, he would catch heat over a string of mod warnings that he sent out over the course of last night. The misinformation I was both following and forwarding out myself was that it was believed by some people that he was already catching heat from both Heralds and Riot staff, and I unfortunately became a part of that some by believing it without taking the time to look past the name RiotAugust. I thus incorrectly assumed from that false information that the recent string of mod warnings that he sent out (the original topic of this particular thread in was commenting on) was directly related to his perceived unbecoming demeanor, and that he was taking out his frustration on the community with his mod powers. After looking into that whole situation more, it's actually pretty clear that the people who gave me that information were doing Ulanopo dirty there, and that I am a foolish sheep for assuming that seeing a Riot official's name involved in a reddit post made the information true. I do not hate our heralds...though I still stand by my belief that a couple of those removals including the one from that thread seemed a bit overkill for what they were, and I also stand by my original point of "if there's an actual issue of a herald going overboard, it will be taken up by the proper boards management and people can rest easy." One of these things is my belief, but the other, far more important one for the sake of clarity (that perceived abuse of power would be investigated and punished swiftly) is fact.

To make it clear, I am specifically apologizing for my attitude towards him when swayed by false information, and for incorrectly believing that the string of mod warnings, over what some believe to be very loose and mild violations, was him abusing his mod powers and taking out frustration over what ended up being a fictional disagreement between him and August on us, the community. I am not apologizing for my belief that those warnings were given over very loose and mild violations. I will admit where I was wrong, but I will not relinquish my belief that the removed content was in some cases the epitome of making a mountain out of a molehill...which really only furthers my belief the notion that PB has seriously become an abysmal cesspit of negativity that needs to be promptly dealt with.

I do not expect him to accept that apology, on the same grounds that he didn't accept one from August, but at the very least, it's public, it's sincere, and under oath of an immediate permaban, such a slight will not be brought against him by me again. Barring of course a case in which I have the most concrete of evidence, which after deciding not to be a sheep I will almost guarantee people will not exist.

To be honest, I'm not 100% certain what you feel a need to apologize for, but I didn't take anything you said personally or think it inappropriate.
