Riot, I think you are relying a tad too much on normalization in your reworks.

TwitchTwitch and SivirSivir are the two most obvious ones that comes to mind. Xerath is one too.

For TwitchTwitch , you nerfed his Q so that his stealth only lasts a very brief amount of time. From a balance standpoint, this makes some sense. You don't have to put as much effort and time into balancing him. And people are not forced to build pink wards and oracles like they used to.

Then there was SivirSivir, whose bouncing blades were a toggle she could have up all fight long. Then they remade it so it was an "on-next hit" ability that only let her have one blade bouncing at a time. You realized how absolutely stupid that was, and went for a middleground that let her throw three. Still a lot less than what it was before, but better than her initial rework.

In both cases, TwitchTwitch and SivirSivir became viable champions that were able to compete with other ADC's as a result. But also in both cases, they were disappointing reworks that killed a lot of what made them stand out among ADC's. It normalized them to behave much more like typical ADC's of the time rather than finding a way to balance a SivirSivir with toggle-able ricochet and a TwitchTwitch with a lengthier stealth duration. They became easier to balance because you made them more like other ADC's rather than trying to preserve what made them so fun to play.

A similar thing can be said of Xerath'sXerath rework. Making his self-rooting ability into an ultimate was a HORRIBLE move. The ability to root himself like a sort of siege tank and fire from range was Xerath'sXerath identity, but now, it's just a long cooldown ultimate combined with his old R. Why couldn't he have his old ability to root himself and fling his long ranged nukes on a more frequent and consistent basis?

There are likely other examples as well. But these are the most glaring examples that came to mind. You made them more like everyone else rather than try to preserve what made them special. Some champion reworks you did ended up working out. Miss Fortune'sMissFortune W and R actually makes sense now unlike before. EvelynEvelynn is still a very stealthy AP assassin. It's just that many others lost what made them stand out.

I know MANY people will get the wrong idea as they often do and think I'm complaining about these champions being UP/OP and that they need buffs/nerfs. But...just read the darn post before telling me about how you totally carried a game with X champion hence he/she's balanced.

Honestly twitches stealth at the time, along with eve's at max rank could last 40 seconds. This is truly not good in both a balance point of view, and in a fun factor for the enemy. With the removal of oracles, if would be nigh impossible to kill a twitch once he used his stealth.
