I think it's high and time for a disco-themed 
skin.
Imagine this. in a shiny sequinned sport coat, fabulous bell-bottoms, and some heeled boots. His shield could be a multi-colored disco dance floor, and his weapon could be a disco ball on a stick. It would be a truly outrageous evening.
As for his "gem aura" that surrounds him let it be colored disco lights, and when he ults the player could hear a disco song.
Please let this be a thing. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

When I jumped into this thread I thought you were going for something similar to 'Primetime Draven' as a reference to 'Saturday Night Live'. Took me a moment to realize you were referring to 'Saturday Night Fever'.
Might want a slightly more obvious reference. Beyond that, I do like the idea.
Could always tie it in slightly with one of Zilean's skins and call it "Groovy Taric", dunno if that'd get the idea you're aiming for across, but I think it could work thematically.
