@Riot, I'm tired of waiting. What's being done about Olaf?
It's literally like playing half a champion when you pick him now. It's embarrassing.
You can't play him top - you'll get crushed. Every popular top laner is just better than Olaf by leaps and bounds.
You can't jungle with him - every other jungler smokes him in every aspect except MAYBE clear times, and even then FF makes that a moot point.
There's no point in picking him over Vi in any situation. Everything Olaf does, Vi does better, and seems to be immune to nerfs, even though her playstyle and ultimate are just as, if not more "uncounterable" than Olaf's.
The rework did nothing to fix Olaf, and even if it did, you refuse to buff him. All this talk about putting Olaf in a "balanceable state" and "the levers being in place" doesn't mean a damned thing if you REFUSE TO PULL THE LEVERS AND ACTUALLY BALANCE HIM.
So seriously, what's being done? Because from where I sit, I see a big lot of nothing.
Look, I'm trying to be nice and all, but this is getting ridiculous, and I need to vent. Olaf was used in tournament play for ONE MONTH, and you completely butcher him, nerf him into the goddamned ground and leave him there for months on end, and nerf every item he builds while at the same time releasing items that counter him, and then you gut him with this rework that nobody wanted. Just when the Olaf players manage to dust themselves off and TRY to play the version you left us with, a hollow shell of what he used to be, you decided that wasn't enough, and you nerfed him again.
What do you want Olaf players to do, Riot? You want him to build damage to do damage, but you give him terrible ratios and strong bases, and no good hybrid offensive/defensive items for bruisers like Olaf, Darius and Garen. You want him to build damage, and then you make him shed resistances when he uses his ultimate, so I die the second a fight starts. I can't even build Phage anymore, because Olaf doesn't make good use of Trinity Force.
What am I supposed to do as Olaf? Why haven't you said anything about him for months? Why does it feel like you don't even want us to play him? Why is Vi allowed to do everything he does, but better? Why is she allowed to do so, and not even get lovetap nerfs?
Why am I not allowed to play the champion I love? Olaf is my favorite champion. I've played him since 2010, when his Q scaled with AP, his W had 1.5% HP scaling, his E cost mana and health, and his ultimate lasted eight seconds, and this is the worst condition he's ever been in.
Just... just tell me something. ANYTHING.
