Are darius and garen really opposites?

What's the problem? The problem is that the answer is yes.

I mean that it is not possible in the match ups Darius against Garen is not equal if they are rivals. The problem is that Darius is created to destroy his enemy and Garen to resist, Garen cannot resist against him. The real problem with Garen is passive I think. Wait 9 seconds to recover health as a percentage of health and if you take damage you cancel. We have all learned to counter garen with poke. I always thought who Garen should survive again all. I always thought that his passive should be like Veigar passive, but for health regen.

I m not a Garen player, I play him a bit but I stop to play him because he is a toplane who dont have CC, sustain, poke or mobility. Most important stats of a toplaner.

I don't really care if someone think who garen is good or dont. But after one year I play this game, I'm sure garen is not a toplaner.

Garen has mobility and slow breaking ability and his soft cc silence.

In theory he has more than Shyvana

How is one a top and not the other?

NO! We do not need another Dr. Mundo passive. Garen needs to get buffed so that he can do better in teamfights, but buffing his passive is not the way to do it. Making his E do more damage, not be slowed, and have it be cancelled out by stun/suppress is a good idea to do that. Perhaps double the cooldown of his Q, but reduce it by 3/4 or something if he doesn't use it to break free of a slow (similar to how Riot handled Lee Sin's W). Again don't take me down to downvote city, these are just ideas.
