So, Riot, what happened to Poppy not being forgotten?

Glad to see you're finally addressing Nidalee.

Do you guys have any news on reworks of the "bottom of the barrel" champions like Poppy, Sion, Urgot, etc? Would be nice to know they're not totally forgotten.

Yeah yeah Seb, but what’s next? A note on our upcoming aims – with Heimerdinger, Twitch, and Karthus we’re closing out a stretch of art-focused updates and moving into a period where we’re shifting the emphasis to gameplay. This does not mean we’re abandoning art; Gameplay Updates will still be supported with visual retouches where necessary, and for our more comprehensive projects we’re looking at champions with outdated / irrelevant gameplay in addition to lagging visuals (i.e. a certain undead behemoth).

Everything mentioned below is tentative, not tied to dates, subject to change, delay, cancellation, etc. When updating everyone’s beloved champions, our overriding goal is to do the job right; speed comes a distant second. Seriously, Soon™, if you try to hold me to what’s said below I’m taking a poro hostage.

Well, at least you got Sion in. Good for him! Glad to see progress is being made there. We should see the rework for the first time on PBE in a year or so.

Too bad there was nothing about Poppy. Or Urgot. It's been years and there's been nothing. There never will be anything.

Please refund Poppy and Urgot players' skins. There was no way for them to know that you would treat them this way. They supported you thinking you would eventually get around to their champion, and you couldn't fit a token mention into your big post on champion relaunches.

Not being next in line =/= being forgotten. What is it with everyone asking for refunds all day long suddenly?

If they hadn't forgotten her, they would have mentioned her in their big post on "all the reworks that we're working on" post. They even included Sion! But no Poppy.

I mean, they promised they'd be doing work on her 6 months ago. Now, not only have we heard nothing, they couldn't even mention her again in this post.

I bought the skin for Poppy because Riot posts gave me the false impression that they would be reworking her eventually into a playable state. And yeah, I do want a refund.

If you want a refund, use one of the ones you get. Used your refunds already? Don't frivolously spend your money, especially on something like an underplayed (and underrated) champion just because you expect buffs or changes later on. That's just stupid. They also didn't mention Cassiopeia, Anivia, Udyr, and others that could use QoL changes and/or a VU/TU.

Poppy has been "in line" for 2-3 years at this point. When is she next in line?

If she isn't "next" after waiting this long, she never will be.

She's next when Riot decides she is the champion that gives them the most reward for their resources. Riot is a business, they can't just throw resources around if they don't stand to gain a profit just because you bought a skin.

They are still making changes to Skarner. Since they say they are making changes should I just go ahead and buy all of Skarner's skins because he is getting changes? No, of course not that would be stupid. And even if I did, I'm not entitled to getting all my money back just because I don't like the changes, that's also stupid. What you did is no different than the stock market. You spent money based on speculation. You don't get your money back just because you didn't get something fast enough (in your opinion) nor should you get it back if you don't personally like the results. That isn't how the world works.
